By nightfall, everybody was in their positions. Nobody liked the plan very much, especially Tsuyu, but it was the only thing anybody could come up with that had more than a ten percent chance of working.

At exactly 1, you made your way to the swing. Dabi had made his getaway earlier that day, so everybody knew he'd be there. It was all over the news, so he had to assume that you'd also show if you knew. You plopped down, prepared to wait for a while.

The swing moved gently as you sighed, taking in the cold night air. Your feet brushed the ground as you kept it swaying, calming your nerves. You took a deep breath, exhaling again as you focused.

Your heart leapt to your throat as the swing moved higher, and you could hear Dabi's laughter echoing around you. You forced yourself to smile and laugh, pumping your legs as he pushed you.

After nearly a minute, you slowed the swing and stood to meet Dabi's eyes. He was taller than you by nearly a foot, which did nothing for your nerves. Still, his eyes showed no malice and his grin showed no evil plans, so you let it be.

He quietly took your hand, leading you away. Very faintly, you could hear Bakugou start to follow you both near silently. Still, you never faltered so Dabi wouldn't notice. If anything, you walked a bit louder to hide his small noises.

"You're going to love it, (Y/N). We found those dragons you were talking about! Some dad dragon was trying to take them away from all humans, and he had, like, fifty other small dragons, so we took him and the little dragons. I'm sure some of them are yours!" You forced a grin, keeping your legs moving. You willed your voice to stay strong as you continued trekking.

"That's great Touya. I can't wait." He nodded, looking back to the small pathway with a giant grin. His grip on your wrist grew stronger the more excited he became, telling you that you'd definitely have a bruise tomorrow.

After nearly ten minutes of walking, and ten minutes of you trying to hide Bakugou's noise, Dabi finally lead you into a small clearing mainly filled with the kind of house you'd see in Hocus Pocus or some other movie about a witch.

From the front of the building, you could hear the loud cry of a dragon coming from the back. Your heart swelled imagining what they could be doing to him to make him so loud, especially around humans.

"Touya, can I go see the dragons?" He hesitated, not giving in to your puppy dog eyes. "Please?"

"No, we need to get you settled in first. Then I'll show you around." His face grew serious as his way too warm hand tightened around your wrist yet again. You grew more afraid, knowing that if you ruined his plans again you'd be in more trouble than was good for the plan.

He showed you to a small room, hiding Shigaraki and the others from your few as you all walked past. Even so, Shigaraki's voice echoing back to you as he called out for Dabi to explain worsened your nerves to an awful extent. You weren't as sure that this could be done anymore.

Finally, after another thirty minutes of convincing Dabi that you were settled, he agreed to let you look around. Finally, the plan could be set in motion.

You made your way to the back almost immediately, Dabi following close behind you. He left no space between you and him as he leaned over you to unlock the door, taking his sweet time doing so as the pervert poked your thigh. You held back a grimace as it finally swung open.

The first thing you noticed was how the dragon was held down.

It was a pretty large dragon by current day standards, nearly the size of a horse. You hadn't even been aware they still grew to that size, but another look at the dragon made it much clearer.

Chains wrapped themselves around pretty much all of it, holding and pinning his wings, tail, arms, and legs to the ground. They were entirely unnecessary for the century old dragon, considering he was nearly at his end and couldn't have had that much strength. In smaller cages to the side of him, you could spot most of the dragons you'd seen around. A small green Locust Swarmer huddled between a tall blue Water Grazer and a larger yellow Dozer, the triplets, and a small red Blade Marmoran  who was angrily squeaking at an older black and white Swarmtail all occupied the same space, with roughly the same amount of dragons per cage.

You held back a gasp as you walked over to the big dragon. You made silent eye contact with a hidden Tsuyu, Hizashi, Bakugou, and Midnight as you crouched down next to him. He laid his head softly in your lap, admitting defeat.

    "You bastards."

"What was that, (Y/N)?" Dabi questioned, walking a little closer so he could hear.

"I called you a bastard, you cunt-sucking motherfucker in hell's highest level. He's nearly dead, and you covered him in chains?!? YOU PUT MY FRIENDS IN CAGES! You deserve everything that's coming for you, you sorry excuse for an asshole that not even his mother could love."

Dabi didn't have enough time to respond before an attack was launched on the small house.

You worked quickly, trying to get the chains off of the old dragon as the four behind you fought intensely against Dabi. They appeared to be winning, so you tried to work faster.

By the time you were done untangling the larger dragon, they were starting to lose some steam. You decided now would be the best time to try to free the caged dragons, even if it was closer to Dabi.

Just as you opened the last cage and helped the smallest dragon out, something hit your head hard. You nearly blacked out, looking up to notice that Dabi was angrily throwing things at everyone, trying to delay them. You huffed, quietly joining the fight.

Before things could hit people, you would blast them back at Dabi and hope they hit him. Only a few did, and they didn't hit hard, but they hit him nonetheless.

As Dabi's rage grew, the more things appeared to be aimed at you. It was almost as if his vision was blurring, keeping him from noticing. Your dizziness was growing worse and it took everything in you not to pass out in the middle of the fight.

Finally, Dabi was almost down. Only a few more hits and he'd be unconscious, and Hizashi and Nemuri could take him to the police with the rest of the league. You let your guard down, thinking he'd be out before he could fire at you again.

    That was your mistake.

As you took a deep breath of relief, yet another object flew at your head, and you finally lost consciousness.

A/N:

Buckle up, bitches, cause things are about to get even more angsty. I'll be accepting requests for my death/murder next Saturday when your life goes to shit. Until then, enjoy this cliffhanger!
