Tsu's POV-

Her eyes met mine, and behind all the fake courage, I was surprised to see how much fear was building up. Whatever happened must be really awful if she's this scared just to talk about it. Her hands didn't leave the bed, so I tried to pry them off.

Her grip released for a second, pain and fear flashing through her eyes before they finally caught onto my hands. For someone who 'lost most of her strength', she sure is strong. If she wanted to keep me there, it would have worked. I couldn't get out of this, not that I wanted to.

Her eyes calmed down and made their way to the bed again. She was looking at her legs, eyes unblinking, and hands gripping tighter before releasing slightly and repeating. Before her eyes could go completely hazy, I tried to talk to her.

"Hey, (Y/N), it's okay now. Whatever happened back then is over now, I won't let it happen again." She squeezed my hand slightly, but it didn't hurt.

"But what if it does?" Her voice was shaky, and even though we knew it would hurt her, the therapist spoke up.

"What are you worried will happen again?" (Y/N) stiffened, no longer moving. Her lips were slightly parted, enough for me to hear her rapid breaths. Her eyes were hazy, hair falling in her face. She didn't seem to mind, however. My grip on her tightened.

"(Y/N)? (N/N), you need to slow down, hey, it's okay, don't panic." I was panicking, obviously. When your girlfriend gets a panic attack, how is one supposed to act? She wasn't moving, though the therapist didn't seem panicked in the slightest.

"Why aren't you worried? Your patient is having a panic attack over something you said! You should be trying to help her!" I was mad, to say the least. In the short amount of time that we've known each other, I grew pretty attached to my soulmate.

"It's fine, she does this all the time."

"So you intentionally trigger her? Why, kero? What'll it help? Do your job, not what your mind wants!"

"She's only doing it to get out of talking. Besides, getting the story from her is my job. That's what the government hired me to do. Do you really think she'd be here otherwise?"

"So you let me yell at her for hiring you, kero, even though she didn't want to be anywhere near you?" She nodded.

"Get out, kero. Get out and don't come back. (Y/N) is going to get a new therapist, one who actually cares about her wellbeing, and you're never going to come near her again. Kero, do you understand?" She looked me in the eyes before smirking.

"No, little girl. I was hired to help this poor soul, and that's what I plan to do." I haven't done this in years, and I'm not proud of it, but when I snap, I snap, and I guess she really was trying to pull the string.

I growled at her. An animalistic, wolfish, growl. It started low, but my pitch slowly rose until I sounded as mad as I was. She hardly seemed afraid on the outside, but when I approached her with my teeth bared and a scowl on my face, I could see the fear in her eyes.

"I said, get out, kero. Or do I need to call all my hero friends?" She shook her head, frantically gathering her things.

"Fine, I'll go. But don't think I won't be back, Asui. I'm still her therapist."

"No, you're not. I don't care if you're the last therapist on planet earth, (Y/N) doesn't need a therapist." I glanced over at her. "Right now, she needs friends. When she's well enough to talk to a therapist, then we'll see." She huffed and stomped out of the room, coat flittering behind her. I turned back to the girl on the bed.

She was still staring into nothingness, breaths coming and going too quickly to be considered healthy.

"Hey, shh, it's okay, (Y/N), I promise you're okay now." Her eyes moved up to me, but it didn't seem like she was processing what I said. "Hey, (Y/N), what's your favorite flower?" I figured that if I could get her mind off of what that lady brought up then maybe she'd be okay.

"I-i-i-i-i-i..." her voice shook, trying to get a solid word out. "I-i-i-i-i-i l-l-l-i-i-k-k-k-e-e-e-" Her chest was shaking rapidly, trying to get a breath in. Tears were streaming slowly down her face, tired of being held back by the girl.

"Hey, it's okay, you don't have to talk. I do have some good news though!" Her eyes came slightly back into focus, meeting mine. Hers were sallow and sunken in, tired and pained, yet they still put up the effort to meet mine. "They're letting you out early, kero! When I come tomorrow, they're letting me take you out of this place. The dekusquad is planning a party, if you'd like to go, kero. She nodded slowly, eyes finally brightening a bit.

"I'd like that." A smile made its way onto her face.

A/N:
GUYS HELP WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN AT THE PARTY IM ALMOST ENTIRELY OUT OF IDEAS AND I DONT WANNA MISS AN UPDATE

So I THOUGHT I had another chapter written, but turns out it was just a blank one. So, what should happen next? I know a lot of people don't read these, but hey, hopefully something good comes out of this. Thanks for reading!
