You were shaken awake by the final bell. Bolting upright, your breath came in short bursts as you tried to calm down. Nobody else was in the room with you, and you couldn't tell whether that should scare you or reassure you.
By the time you'd decided that it was good for you, someone had crashed into the room and completely reset your brain. You'd reverted back to panicking and it wasn't aided by the footsteps approaching you.
A small lady stopped to your right, and you stopped breathing. She appeared to not notice, instead grabbing your wrist and checking your pulse. You let it sit limply in her hand, staring straight ahead.
"Your heart's racing. What happened?" You jumped at her voice and she retracted her hand, letting you calm down. A few deep breaths later, and you were almost ready to talk.
"I-"
The door slammed open yet again, and you almost fell out of the bed. The woman growled at the newcomers and helped you stand while you avoided looking at them. You shook more than a leaf in the wind, though the newcomer didn't appear to notice.
"Recovery Girl! Question!" The person spoke, out of breath. They must not have noticed you standing next to her.
"What, what do you want?" She huffed, trying to help you back into the bed. It was a losing battle, really, since you were not about to be that vulnerable again.
"If someone were to, say, get electrocuted, what would happen to them?" You sunk against the wall, Recovery Girl finally letting you chill off of the bed. You stayed hidden behind it, hoping the kid wouldn't see you.
"Ashido, what did he do?"
"He accidentally hit Satou with his quirk and now Sato is kinda just laying on the ground." Recovery Girl sighed loudly, walking to the other side of the bed and out of your vision.
"(L/N), stay here. Asui is coming back in a little bit to get you so just-" she stopped for a second. "Just stay still, okay?" You nodded, hoping she'd assume you did. And then all hell broke loose.
"Wait, (Y/N)?" The person yelped, and you flinched. "Like, Tsuyu's girlfriend?" You could hear the footsteps pounding towards you, and you twisted your eyes closed in fear.
"Ashido, leave her alone!" Recovery Girl's yell didn't stop them, and soon you could tell they had stopped right in front of you.
You jerked away from them as a hand found it's way on your arm, and you cried out in shock.
"Ashido, knock it off! The girl's traumatized, leave her be!"
"What- Recovery Girl, what's wrong with her?!" You shrank into yourself, wishing Tsuyu would just come take you away.
"Ashido, let's go. You're taking me to Satou and that's that." Recovery girl shover Ashido out the door, and finally silence fell onto the room. Your mind was racing with memories of what had happened and they mixed with newer memories of the past few months, giving you a headache.
The door opened again and you could practically hear the shock of the new person. You hoped it would just be Tsu and you could go back to your dorm, but when multiple sets of footsteps clicked against the floor, your heart sunk.
"(Y/N)?" Tsuyu's voice startled you a bit, but she was on the other side of the room. One of the others was much closer and your heartbeat filled your ears as they grew closer.
"Ah- Asui! Over he-" You shoved the person out of the way, too afraid to apologize before running out of the room. There was a shout of surprise from the room before you were out the door and down the hall.
Your feet pounded against the tiles and your breath came in short bursts, but you refused to stop. You couldn't stop. You had to get away.
A few voices around the corner found their way to your ears, and it didn't register in your head until you'd turned left and slammed into someone.
"What the fuck?" A familiar voice growled, and you finally burst into tears. "Pipsqueak? Hey- calm down, come on." Bakugou knelt down, trying to hug you, but you just jerked away. "Breathe, damnit. Just breathe. Shitty hair, go find Frog face."
More footsteps ran away from you, and your tears slowed slightly as you finally let yourself realize it was only Bakugou.
"Wanna tell me what the fuck just happened?" You nodded a bit, trying to wipe your eyes.
"I- too many people, strangers, they were too loud." You choked over your words and flinched as more footsteps came racing towards you, trying to hide behind Bakugou.
"Hey, it's oka-"
"(Y/N)!" Tsuyu flew around the corner and you shrieked before you realized it was her. She spotted you easily, but you found it hard to move. So many people were around you and you couldn't see straight enough to know who they all were.
"Hey, fuck off! She's panicking because there's so many of you shits!" Bakugou yelled, and you gripped the back of his uniform as Tsuyu made her way to you.
"It's okay guys, we'll meet up at the dorms, kero." With that, the other people practically vanished. Your grip on Bakugou loosened, but your hand remained stuck to him. If you let go, you were sure the world would fall away and you'd be all alone. "(Y/N), it's okay. It's just us three now, you can relax.
A sob escaped you as you finally flung yourself into Tsuyu's arms.
