yoongi and hoseok finally got all three boy's to bed. it was late at night but they were going to stay up for a good reason. they settled down on the couch and thought of any ideas they could plan for taehyung and jungkook's birthday.
it seemed like a win, win, right? having two birthdays on the same day?
for them it was always a disaster, something always got in the way, either too busy to do anything, the weather was terrible to do anything.
usually they never did anything. actually when it was one of their birthdays they didn't do anything, especially yoongi who asked for no gifts since he never knew what to give in return, but on this occasion he was sure to come up with something with hoseok.
on the other hand, hoseok seemed like a god of gifts. he always knew what to give everyone, probably because he was more vocal with everyone but that's beyond the point.
"i don't know what to get them," yoongi whispered and traced the small creases of the couch. the older boy waited for a response but he got nothing from hoseok. he looked up with furrowed eyebrows wondering why the boy never answered him.
"i heard you, hyung. give me a second" hoseok hummed as he kept looking at his phone as if he was trying to look for something. indeed he was, he kept notes of what the boy's talked to him and what they would want. it wasn't anything creepy, he just kept the things that the boy's wanted.
he hummed a tune and stopped when he came to taehyung and jungkook's list.
"here we go, jungkook said he wanted that one game, overwatch. taehyung wanted..remember that one boba shop we passed by that one time-?" hoseok question yoongi. the boy nodded and let the boy continue, "-he wanted to go there so we can take him tomorrow and there's that small manga store right next to the boba shop.... i think he wanted haikyu, but he can pick whatever" the boy smiled in satisfaction, turning off his phone to see yoongi's baffled face.
yoongi shook his head, he could've never guessed, "wow. alright then. we'll make birthday pancakes and by we i mean you," he smiled and continued. "good night, hobi" yoongi patted the youngsters back and ruffled his hair before he left. hoseok couldn't even say anything before yoongi left.
'well, he better drive tomorrow' hobi thought as he picked up the younger boy's belongings on the floor and into the basket where they stored everything. as soon as he finished he went to go wash up and sleep, letting all of his anxiety go away till tomorrow.
as for hoseok who woke up around eight knowing that the others won't get up till ten. he huffed and opened his door to go to the kitchen as he tried his hardest not to wake up the others. he stepped on the last step just as it creaked, "shut the fuck up floor" he whispered and quickly ran to the kitchen.
