mark and haechan always loved hanging out with each other. there wasn't a time where they were separated only at times they got upset with each other which was stupid because they always made up in seconds as they never been able to be actually mad at each other.

"donghyuck... i'm sorry, i don't have time right now" mark apologized as he said before that he was going to play with him over an hour ago.

of course donghyuck wasn't happy with the response. "b-but! you promised!" he whined as he held on to a small white bear stuffy.

mark felt bad. he's been promising the younger for a while now but he was really busy at the moment. "what if i take you with hyungie? with taeil! you can have fun with him instead of waiting for me to finish... how does that sound?" mark persuaded and ruffled the pouty boy's hair. donghyuck was going to say something till he could whine no longer about it. he didn't mind going to taeil's room, he liked him, but he much rather be with mark.

he thought for a while till he looked up at mark since he was sitting on the couch and the older boy was standing. "i guess so.. taeil awso fun... take lu?" he asked the older boy with pleading eyes as he clutched the bear stuffy.

mark could never say no to his doe eyes so of course he said yes.

they all had their own dorms, but some of them would hang out with each other more often. like johnny would frequently go to jaehyun's room, same with taeyong, he would go to doyoung's, things like that because sometimes they were just bored. why not take the advantage of having lots of members when you have the time? no one was lonely anyways. haechan usually went with mark or jungwoo but mark and him had more of a bonding relationship.

with discussing a couple more things they got out marks dorm, going down the hallway to the eldest, taeil's room. now, mark didn't know or even asked him if he could take care of donghyuck but! who could say no to him?

he knocked on the door waiting for the boy to answer the door. taeil took his time and opened the door but once he saw mark—

"hey, taeil, could y—"

slam.

"uh- well. that wasn't very nice of you taeil-hyung! you meanie, there's no reason to close the door on me! come here hyuck, if he sees you in the picture he'll talk to me" mark laughed. it wasn't that taeil didn't like mark, they were best friends, in fact that's just how they teased each other.

mark hummed in satisfactory and knocked again, "taeil! open the fucking door! come on!" he begged.

he had something very important to do and being himself he procrastinated till the last minute. inside the dorm was taeil, of course and yuta which the other boy's had no knowledge about.
