hoseok fluttered his eyes open, immediately feeling a weight sitting on his lower abdomen. his eyes focused on the small boy who was glaring right back at him.
the younger one raised his hand to stroke the boy's cheek. yoongi leaned into his hand and grinned, fond of the rapper's warm touch.
"good morning, sweetheart." hoseok spoke, his voice was gruff as he had just woken up. the small boy reclined onto his caregiver's chest, hugging him tight. "hi, hi! mornin'." yoongi chirped before masking himself the crook of the younger one's neck.
they could stay like this forever. yoongi adored hoseok, they were like two peas in a pot. wherever hoseok went, yoongi would follow, vice versa. they would do everything together.
his caregiver rubbed circles on his back. "did you sleep well? you were moving a lot last night. do you remember? i had to wake you up." the rapper thought out loud. he wasn't sure what happened. as soon as he woke yoongi up, the little one fell back asleep.
the boy sat back up and shook his head. "mhm. b-buh hada dream. dun' r-remember. mmm..." yoongi hummed while he thought.
it took a couple minutes before he gasped. "i know! was scared 'cause s-someone trying to hurt yoobi!" he pointed to himself. the little one wasn't quite sure what was trying to chase him but he remembers trying to run away till he stopped his catch his breath.
at that point of his dream, hoseok could could hear him whining as he softly mumbled a small 'stop.' and 'go away.' when yoongi woke up and the rapper asked what happened, the boy said nothing and drifted back to sleep.
"ooh. that's scary, yoongi. i'm glad i woke you up then." his caregiver laughed and ruffled the boy's hair.
yoongi grinned and hopped off the bed to get started with their day, pulling on his caregiver's arm as he tried to tug him out of bed. "i'm going, i'm going." he laughed. the boy let go and let hoseok get out of bed on his own.
what the smaller one wasn't expecting was when the taller got out and scooped him up, peppering his with multiple kisses.
before they went down for breakfast, the two of them were going to brush their teeth. "beep! beep! the train stops here!" hoseok put him down carefully.
the two of them grabbed their toothbrush, the toothpaste tube in the younger one's hand as he spurted a small blob of toothpaste on the bristles.
yoongi was skipping around the spacious bathroom as he brushed his teeth.
