"Again?" I ask. "(Y/n), I've been so busy and backed up on work. We will spend some time together soon." Then Mark retreat to his recording room. I sigh dejectedly. I had made dinner for us, trying to get him to sit down and eat with me. He had been flanking out on me lately, always working in his room. He needs a break, and I want to spend some time with my boyfriend. I go to eat on the couch, an upset look on my face. A couple of minutes later, Mark comes down the stairs. "The memory card for my camera is messed up. I need to go get a new one." He states, getting shoes on. I set my plate on the side table, turning to face him. "Did you at least finish you food?" He chuckles. "Yes. I'm an adult, calm down. I'll be back soon babe." He kisses my cheek then rushes out of the house. I sigh again. It's been like this for weeks. Brief interaction between him working.

Ten minutes later, there's a knock on the door. I set my plate down again, standing to open the door. When I open it, I see some blonde woman in a nice red dress. She's pretty, with her hair and make up done. "Um, sorry, I think you have the wrong place." I say, about to close the door, but she pushes it open. "Wait, doesn't Mark live here?" I swing the door open. "What?" She smiles. "I'm Kathy. I'm here for my date with Mark." What.... he..... "Your date?" I ask feebly. She nods excitedly. "Yeah, were supposed to go out." She giggles. "Well I'm his girlfriend, you bitch!" I slam the door in anger. I call Mark's phone, which doesn't answer. I leave a message. "Mark, you better be on your way home, you bastard." I pace the living room in anger, waiting for Mark to get home. It's only a few moments before he does. "Sorry, I couldn't answer because I was drivi-" "You we're going to go on a date with another girl?" I shout.

He flinched a little, but looks confused. "What are you talking about?" He asks. "Don't play dumb, some chick named Kathy came saying she was here for a date with you! You haven't spent a hour out with me this month, but you can make time to go out with another girl! I can't believe you! I can't believe you would cheat on me! How could you do this! I try so hard to make you happy, and you just toss me aside! You bastard!" I shout. "Babe, Listen-" I cut him off. "Don't babe me. I'm leaving." I grab my phone, put a pair of slip on shoes, and storm out of the house into the dark night. I cry as I walk, and frankly, am freaked out when I'm alone, so I call up a friend to meet at the park.

I'm worried about (Y/n). It's been a little while, and she isn't home. It keeps getting darker in the night, but I don't know where to look. I decide to call Ethan and Tyler to help me look. "Please help me, we got into an argument and she stormed off and I'm worried about her." They agree to help, so I then grab a jacket and go out to look for her. I didn't cheat on her, the girl was Gary's sister. Gary is a friend of mine from Ohio, but his sister was always obsessed with me. She recently moved to L.A. for "work." Kathy has caused trouble in all of my relationships, but this is the worst. I love her so much, I can't lose (Y/n). I need her, this can't happen. I don't find her as I'm looking, but get a call from Tyler. "Mark, I found her at the park near your house. She's looking at the stars with a guy I don't recognize." I grow a little angry. "Thanks Tyler." Then hang up. Another guy. Another guy! She's already with another guy! Fuming, I make my way to park in a rushed manner.

I look up at the stars with my friend Nick next to me. We were holding hands, but it was more of a brother-sister kind of thing. I was tracing patterns on the back of his hand. I had called Nick because he is my best friend, and I really needed to talk to someone. "Thanks for listening Nick." He smiles at me. "No problem, (Y/n). Once you calm down, though, I think you should let him give his side of the story." I nod glumly. He ruffles my hair. I have to go, Jamie will worry, but we'll talk soon." Nodding with a smile, I watch him walk away. "Thanks for being the best friend ever!" He calls behind him. I laugh, the lay back down to continue to watch the stars. "Who the hell was that?" An angry voice says. I turn my head to see a pissed looking Mark.

I roll my eyes, looking away. "You immediately turn to another guy?" He asks, anger obvious. I don't answer. "You leave, and immediately go find another guy?" I shoot up. "He's a friend! I'm not a cheater like you!" I shout, then lay on my side facing away from him. My body is racked with sobs, tears flowing down my face. I feel Mark's admittedly warm body sit next to me. "(Y/n), I would never cheat on you. That was Gary's, a friend from Ohio, sister. She's has always been infatuated with the idea of being with me." I still don't face him. "You expect me to believe that?" I hiccup. He sighs. "(Y/n), please, I love you so so so much. I can't lose you, I need to you. I would never hurt you. Please, baby, I love you." I don't turn to him for a moment, but then I sit up to hug him tightly. "I love you too, Mark. I'm sorry I didn't let you explain." I sniff. He rubs my back soothingly. "I'm sorry too, for assuming with Nick and getting angry. And I'm sorry that we haven't spent a lot of time together for awhile. How about we go home, and watch a movie together?" I smile, nodding. "Sounds perfect." He kisses my temple, and helps me up. And we go home. Happy and together.
