WARNINGS: Basically anything that could be a warning from the TV show Bones. It's a show about two people who find a dead body, investigate crimes, catch murders, that sort of thing. I guess I write the warnings as kidnapping and talk of murder would be the best fitting.

Third Person P.O.V.

Seeley Booth and his partner, Dr. Temperance Brennen, were walking up to the house of a kidnapping victim. They were a long ways away from home in D.C., all the way out in L.A., but this was called in by the police in the area. They were after an killer that had a pattern. And the the facts were known from a previous trip the coroners for Brennen to check over. 15 year old girls were the victims, all the girls from the same high school. The girls would go missing for a week, and kept alive during that time, and killed within 24 of the body being found. They were bound, starved, cut, and suffocated under water to be killed. They were working in a few leads, what they were bound with, what they were cut with, where there are discreet water sources. But for now, another girl had gone missing.

The knock on the door rose hope in the hearts of the couple inside. They hoped their daughter was home. All hopes drained when they saw Booth. "Mr. Fischbach, Ms. Nelson, I'm Agent Booth, this is my partner Dr. Brennen. We have some questions to ask about your daughter. May we come in?" The couple shared a fearful look. "Uh, come in." Amy said despondently. The two couples ended up seated across from each other at a table. "How long has your daughter been missing?" Booth asked. "Four days." Mark answered. "Is she alive?" Amy asked, her voice cracking with tears. "We believe that she is alive, although, we cannot be a 100% certain. We believe that she has been taken by the same person as the other homicides, so the timeline would follow through with her being held hostage." Brennen answered. Booth gave her a small look.

A small cry of pain escaped from Amy's lips as she leaned into Marks arms. Marks head was swarming with fear and sadness. They both wanted their little girl home. Booth showed them the pictures of the other girls. "Do you recognize any of the kids in these photos?" Mark pointed at one. "That's Violet Holt. She was bullying (Y/n) for being adopted. We talked with her parents and the school principal multiple times to stop it, but it never stuck for long. I think these other girls were Violet's friends, but I can't be sure."

"(Y/n) was so strong. She could take care of herself. She was the 'at least my parent chose me' kind of kid. She never let anyone get to her again after she got away from her birth parents." Amy said, a small trace of a smile on her face. "She was adopted? Did she ever seem resentful about it?" Amy shook her head. "Not at all. We are parents. We are Mom and Dad to her. She's been with us since she was nine years old." Amy said, sort of defensive. Mark made no move to calm her, agreeing whole heartedly. "Alright. Was (Y/n) in a relationship with anyone? Someone that maybe she would have took off with or have been defensive of her?" They both shook their heads. "Okay. Do you have a list of her teachers?"

Booth and Brennen left with the list. "If all those girls were bullying (Y/n), she might have been in on it with the murderer. Maybe she didn't want her parents to know because she was going out with someone she shouldn't have." Brennen gave him a confused look. "But the wounds were consistent with the force produced from a full grown male of about 230-250 pounds." Booth held up the teachers list and gave a suggestive look. "Oh, you think she was in a secret relationship with one of her teachers." She said, a proud smile that she understood. With a small sigh, Booth facepalmed and lead her to the car. "Well what if she wasn't?" Brennen asked. "Then we have three days to find her alive."

They had three teachers to talk to. They also taught Violet. A biology teacher, an art teacher, and a history teacher, starting with the history teacher. "Mr. Steve Harrington? I'm Agent Booth, this is my partner Dr. Brennen, we have some questions about your students."
