(Y/n) P.O.V.

I was going to pull what would hopefully be my best prank yet. I was going to convince my roommate, Jack, that I don't exist. I had gotten all of our friends in on it as well, and had cameras all over our house. I waited until he went to sleep to start the second phase. I got rid of any products in the bathroom, and made my room as blank as possible. White sheets, clothes and nicknacks hidden, and photos removed. I also photoshopped myself out of any photos around the house that I was in and replaced them. The final steps were social media, videos, and fans. I needed his fans help to get this to work, so I took his phone while he was sleeping and sent out a tweet on his account, as well as mine, so they would see. I also temporarily blocked him on everything, and changed my contact name in his phone to just my number. Now I couldn't do much about videos or photos I was in, but I hoped everything else would be enough to convince him that only he could see them or he would just not bother to look at them.

I got some sleep, making sure I had an alarm to wake up before him. In the morning, I got his phone again to delete the tweet. I then grabbed a camera to vlog, and went to my friends house to watch the camera feed on my phone. My friend was asleep when I got there, but I had a key and they knew I was coming so I went in, got myself situated, and waited. Maybe half an hour later, Jack woke up. I sat up with excitement, and started the camera to record my face. He walked into the kitchen after waking up to make coffee. "Alright, I'm here trying to convince Jack I don't exist. Some of you probably saw the tweet. Anyways, I put cameras up to see what he does." I didn't expect him to think much of it at first, so I had to wait for him to try and wake me. "I usually always wake up first or to the smell of the coffee." I explain. I see him go walk to my door and knock. "(Y/n)? Are you awake?" My heart flutters a little at how concerned he sounds. Did I forget to mention I'm drop dead in love with the guy? Anyways, he keeps knocking, and twists the door knob when there's no response.

"What the hell?" I hear him mutter at the barren room. He starts looking around the room for anything. The bed, and underneath it, the closest, the drawers. I wonder what's going through his head. Does he think I moved out without telling him? He goes to his phone, and makes a call. "Felix? Hey, it's Jack. Um, is (Y/n) with you or Marzia? Or do you maybe know where she is?" He asks, still looking around the house. He starts to look confused. "You're joking right? (Y/n), the girl who's lived with me for like 2 years? Our friend (Y/n)?" I laugh. "Oh this is perfect." I say. Jack puts the phone on speaker while wandering around. "Jack, are you drunk or something. We don't know a (Y/n), and you don't have a roommate." Felix's voice says through the phone. "You're messing with me, right? Did I piss her off? Can I just talk to her? Just cut the bullshit."

"Jack! There is no (Y/n)!" "She exists!" Jack picks up on of the photos I removed myself from. He runs his fingers through his hair. "I'll call you back." "Get some more sleep, Jack. You're delirious." I snort. "Oh my god, I kinda can't believe this is working." I admit. My friend shuffled in with a tired look, but brightens when they see me. "Is he buying it?" I nod enthusiastically. He makes another call, still on speaker. "Mark! Have you. Heard from. (Y/n)?!" He ask, frustrated. "Who?" "(Y/n)!" He shouts. Mark laughs. "Oh you're not messing with me. Um no...who is this (Y/n)? New lady friend?" I can practically hear the smirk in his voice. "Dammit Mark." I mutter. My friend pushes me a little with a teasing look. I roll my eyes. "No! You've met her. For fucks sake. She's lived with me for years." He face plants into a counter. "I almost feel bad." I laugh. "Jack, go to sleep. For the love of god." Mark 'frustratedly' hangs up. "Fine. Twitter can help."

I call for my friend, wanting to see what he says through their account. "Okay he said, 'what's a video I should do with (Y/n)?' He's probably trying to not seem crazy." I report. I read off some of the responses. "A few people are just giving answers, but a lot more people are rolling with it. Oh my god, this is so amazing. 'OoooOooO who's (Y/n)?' 'Who is this person?' 'Can't Wait to meet this (Y/n)!'" I start busting out laughing. On the camera feed, Jack is scrolling on his phone, seemingly more and more confused and upset. "I might have to end this soon, he's freaking out." I note. "I'm not crazy!" He decides. Something must have snapped into place, and he rushes to the kitchen. He pulls (whatever food) out of the cupboard. "Aw shit! I forgot about that. Only I buy that in that brand." I explain to the camera. "I knew I'm not crazy!" I exclaims in triumph, fist in the air. "Right?" He lowers his arms.

"Aw, I better just call him." I get my phone, unblocking him on the social media's, and then calling him. I see him answer without a thought. "Hey Jack. You're not crazy, I exist." He sighs in relief. "You're an asshole. Where's the damn camera?" "Um, in a lot of places around the house. Im watching you know. I'm sorry, but you gotta admit I got you good." I tease. He grumbles something unintelligible. "Forgive me?" I ask. He breathes out a laugh. "Yeeeeah, fine. I'll admit, you put a lot of work into this." "I'll be home soon." I say bye to the camera and my friend, and get back home. I'm immediacy wrapped into a hug. "I was scared I created you in my head. You really screwed my up, ya fucker." I laugh. "Oh come on, it was great." "Yeah, but thinking I made you up is scary when..." "When...?" "When I love you. It felt like I was just so lonely, I just created you. I was scared that I'd never hold you in my arms, that I'd never hear you again, that I'd never do this." And he kissed me. And I kiss back. "Um cameras!" I squeak out when we break, red as a fire truck. "Screw it, it's too late." And he kisses me again.

~Bonus~

"They love the video, Jack. I knew it was a great idea." I taunt, showing my phone to Jack. He wraps me in a hug while reading the comments. "It's still terrible." He decides. "That's not what your fans say." I argue. He pecks my lips. "They can be wrong too."
