Based on Arrow Dodge Challenge #3

Mark P.O.V.

We were recording the arrow dodge challenge after the bottle flip video. Bob was going to shoot at Wade, but the arrow went over the fence, and we heard a crash and a yelp. Bob ducks, and curses, Ethan curls into a ball on the opposite fence, Wade looks confused as hell, and Tyler and I share a worried look. "That broke something." "That definitely broke something."

(Y/n) P.O.V.

I was sitting calmly in my backyard, reading a book in the nice silence. Well not total silence. The neighbor was being loud again, but I didn't mind despite the chorus of curses from "Gotcha bitch!" to "You're fuck ugly as fuck!" All I knew about the guy was he always had people coming and going, but they were never really rowdy, so I wasn't bothered. Of course until today. Something came flying from over the fence and through a window. "Oh shit!" I yelped, running inside to find a weird arrow looking thing, and a shattered lamp. Then I hear a knock. I debate picking up the lamp or answering, but decide to just answer first. I open it to see a man with bright red hair (It was bright red at this point). He gives me a sheepishly smile, and I assume he's the neighbor.

"So I'm assuming you're the person I should be thanking for braking the most ugly looking lamp in the universe?" The guy scratches the back of his neck. "Yeah, Er, technically my friend Bob shot the arrow. I'm so sorry. Um, I can pay for the damages if you want." He stuttered out. It was admittedly really cute. "Nah, it's fine. I hated the thing anyways to be perfectly honest. My aunt got it for me, and my mom insists that I have to keep it up. Now I have an excuse for it to be gone." I laugh, and he joins, looking relieved. "Not even the window?" He asks, trying to confirm. "No, it's fine. My name's (Y/n)." He shakes my hand. "I'm Mark. I'm really sorry about the disturbance." He apologizes again. I laugh. "Don't worry about it, seriously. The thing I'm more concerned about is the fact we've been neighbors for awhile now, and I never noticed the bright red hair. I mean, how unobservant am I?" I laugh at myself, almost self  consciously because I think that sounded really stupid. However he laughs along.

"Ehhh, I don't leave my house enough." He admits. "Well whatever you're doing sounds fun, and you should probably get back to it. Do you want to come get your arrow first?" He nods, and I allow him to walk into the house. I lead him to the living room, and hand him the arrow. "Here ya go, Mark." I say enthusiastically. He gives a charming smile. "It was really nice meeting you, even if you did break my window. Maybe we could meet up sometime?" I suggest. He make an over dramatic thinking face, then nods with a laugh. "What if I took you out on a date?" He asks, all confident, and then it tears down and becomes stuttery. "I-If you want. O-Or a-as friends, ya know?" I laugh, and do think he is incredibly cute. "I'd love to."

I'm sitting, cuddled into Mark's side at my house, watching a movie. It's been a full year of us being together, and I couldn't be happier. Mark suddenly pauses the movie. "So, do you know what today is?" He asks. I pretend to think before replying, "The anniversary of you breaking my lamp." "As I seem to recall, you thanked me for that." He laughs. "But no, it's our anniversary." I poke his side a little. "Of course I didn't forget, you doof." He stands up. "I have something for you, I'll be right back." I watch from the window as he exits the house to go back into his. After a few moments he exits and comes back over with a large, colorfully and terrible wrapped, rectangular object. "Here you go, happy anniversary." "Well, hold on, let me go get yours, and-" "Just open it." He laughs. With a small giggle I tear off the wrapping paper to find a box with a lamp label on it. I bust out laughing. "Oh my god, you're amazing!" I exclaim. Opening the box to see a lamp with a (favorite color) marbled base and a white shade.

I peck his lips. "Thank you, I love it. It looks so much better then that old dusty piece of shit I had." He hands be another small box. "Oh come on, don't one up me." I groan. "Just open it." He says again. I open the small box to see a key. I tilt my head, confused as to what it goes to. "What's this for?" I ask. He takes my hand. "My house. Will you move in with me?" My face lights up in excitement, and tackle him into a hug. "I love you, Mark!" I exclaim, kissing him. "I love you too, (Y/n)."
