"Ethan?" I call out, walking into the house. It's dark in here despite the bright daylight outside. All the windows appear to be covered like he didn't want any light in. Is it for some sort of video? I walk over to a coffee table. It's a photo of us, an inscription on the fame. 'Always Together' it read. I smile softly. "Ethan, I'm home!" I hear a bump from somewhere above. Which may have been normal except this is a one story house.

Slowly I look up at the ceiling, thinking rationally something it the roof, but that's not the answer I get. I see my boyfriend on the ceiling like a gecko. His head twisted backwards like an owl. His black eyes and mouth dripping more black ooze. I scream, backing into the wall. This...thing falls from the ceiling, scuttling to stand in front of me. His skin is pale, and the veins showing electric blue through it. His smile is something out of horror movie. He opens his mouth to speak, spiders crawling out of his mouth. I press myself against the wall more.

"Don't be afraid, (Y/n). Its just me, sweet little ol' Ethan." It is indeed Ethans voice, his body, but this isn't him. "You-You're a nightmare." I say shakily. "Stay away from me. Leave us alone." I shout. He just giggles. It's scary to hear Ethans giggle through it. "Don't make this harder. Just join us. Give in." I don't want to leave Ethan, but I don't have the ability to know what's happening without help. I try to make a break for the door. Which is unsuccessful. Something grabs my ankle, making me fall forward, and dragging me back.

I see the thing has grown four long, leg like things on it's back, one of which has grabbed me. His mouth has turned into that of a spider. I scream and struggle, attempting to grab onto something. I scramble and find a one of my heels on the ground. I drive the heel into the leg, making it release an inhuman screech, but let go. I run to the door, flinging it open. It chased me to the door, but appears to stop in the doorway. I guess it can't touch sunlight. Despite a bruise on my ankle, and anxiety through the roof but what's new there, I'm fine. But Ethan isn't. What could I do for Ethan. Is he even still alive. Crying, I call a friend. "Amy, I've got a problem."

🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

Mark and Amy let me crash at their place for the night. I didn't know how to explain what happened. I just told them Ethan and I fought. I could tell they didn't believe it though. I'm just glad the didn't press. They'd think I'm crazy. I toss and turn on couch. I can't sleep. If I close my eyes, I see that thing again. I can hear it again. I shudder. "You can't help if you aren't rested." I tell myself. I force my eyes shut in a final attempt to sleep.

But something held over my mouth makes them fly open.

The thing has me pinned to the couch, a cold hand over my mouth. The black ooze drips onto my face. I scream, but it's muffled. I thrash, but it's weak against it. The monster giggles, it's voice mocking. "I promise you, I'm not a nightmare." From nowhere, spider crawl all around my body. I scream and cry but to no avail. The endless struggling is worth nothing. I feel their hundreds of little legs move inside my ears, up my nose, down my throat. I'm suffocating. It's horrifying. I no longer have the strength to fight as everything around me becomes darker. "Don't fight anymore, (Y/n). Now we will be always together."
