A Detroit: Become Human crossover!!!!!!
(Y/n) P.O.V.
I look over to the empty desks in sadness. Hank's gone, Jack is gone. I felt so alone. We were working to stop the deviants uprising, their peaceful uprising, and I guess we did it. But I think we were on the wrong side. Doesn't matter now though, does it. What gets me is that we were so close. Jack was almost deviant. I loved an android. I loved him, but he was just a machine. He finished his mission, and now they were gone. Hank and I tried to stop him, but we failed. Hank was shoved off the roof, and I was spared for some reason. Hank was my partner and friend, Jack was the one thing I truly loved. It's all gone now. And fucking Gavin doesn't help. He's such a bitch. He's always talking about how great it is without the 'plastic prick' and 'grumpy old man'. I hate it so much.
My head rests in my hands. There's not much to do around here right now. I hear someone enter the precinct, and voice asks a question. "Can you point my to detective (L/n)?" It's the beautiful accent of Jack. I excitedly look up, but what I see disappoints me. The new android looks like him, but it's not Jack. I can tell. His face is a lot more blank. His normal suit now looks more like the white and black worker outfit on other androids. And now thinking about it, his voice was so monotone. Everything about this fake makes me miss my Jack more. The fake walks up to me. The thing I find most strange are its eyes. His normally blue eyes are a metallic grey now. I hate it. "Detective (L/n)?" It asks. "What?" I snap. "I am the new model from Cyberlife, programmed to accompany you on your android investigation." I glare and look it over. "What happened to Jack?" "My inferior counterpart was replaced by me. I'm stronger, faster, and more resilient. I'm the JS900." I stand up, grabbing the thing by the collar.
"Don't talk bad about him. He was not inferior to you. You just a fucking machine." "You are correct, but so was the JS800." "No, he was human. They were all human. Get out of my sight." I hiss. "I will be back, detective." It says before walking to Fowler's office. I flip it the bird behind it. Gavin sees this exchange. "Finally seeing them for what they are. Didn't know you had it in you, (L/n)." He laughs. I whirl on him. "Shut up, Reed. Nobody asked for your dumbass to be here." I walk off to the break room for coffee. I sigh into my hands once in the safety of the lonesome room. It looks just like Jack. Why did it have to look like him? "Detective?" I hear a voice say. I turn around to see the fake. "What?" I groan. "I detect you're hostile towards me because of my appearance. Why does this upset you?" I decide to answer honestly.
"Because you look like him, but you will never be him." I whisper. "I do not understand. I am superior to it. It's flaws have been perfected. I'm the same as it, but fixed." I turn on it. "You will never be Jack. You will never be better then him. Don't speak about him to me. Ever. Don't piss me off, you plastic shit. Stay out of my way." I walk past it, purposely bumping his shoulder.

"Let the girl go!" I shout at the deviant, holding a child at gun point. Both me and the fake have guns pointed at the deviant. "Human may have stopped us, but we aren't going down without you a few of you guys with us." It growls. "Just let the girl go, and we can just talk." The monotone voice of the fake says. "Why are you helping them?" "We are machines. We are meant to serve humans." "Shut up, you're pissing him off." I growl at the fake. "It." It corrects. "He." I correct. The deviant looks between us, then looks at me. "You understand more then him? I don't get it." He admits. "I've realized that we're fighting on the wrong side. But it's my job to protect civilians, so can you please, please, let the girl go. And then we'll just talk." I plead. The deviant lowers the gun. "Okay. Okay, I trust you." He lets the girl run to me. "Thank you. No-" Before I can continue, the fake shouts the deviant in the head.
"What the hell?!" I shout, rushing to his side, looking for any trace of life. The little girl looks horrified. "Don't look, honey." I turn her head. I glare at the fake. "Why'd you do that? What point did that serve?" "It was a deviant. It had to be destroyed. I just did what my counterpart could not." I seethe. "I told you to never talk about him." I growl. "Why? He's gone. I suggest you forget about it, detective." "I will never forget about him. I loved him, and I he was more deviant then he wanted to believe. They're people too. We have them life! So why destroy them? This is all a failing mission! You talk a big talk, but you are not superior to Jack. Because your nothing but gum stick to my shoe. Leave, and don't talk to me again." I hiss. "My mission-" "Is over." "No, I am assigned to take out deviants." "Get out of my face. Now." I say, my voice dangerously low. "Or what?" I pull my gun on it. "Or else this." I growl, shooting him in the head. The girl screams again.
"Don't worry. He'll be back. Unfortunately. Let's get you home." I tell her. I take her hand to bring her to the station, leaving the two blue bloody bodies behind. I'm done with the fake. I'm done with the reminder of him. He's gone, and I'll never get him back. But this douche keeps acting superior, and I'd had enough. You're not superior. Your nothing. But Jack? Jack was everything.
