This one-shot is a more serious one. I want to reflect myself in my writings, so I decided to represent on of my worst fears into a chapter. While I don't know first hand, I know that this is scary stuff. If you have any issues with this topic, please feel free to skip this chapter.

(Y/n) P.O.V.

I sit in the bathroom during my fourth period class. The teacher let us have some free time, and I wanted to use my phone, so I went to the bathroom to text my older brother, and legal guardian, Sean. Although I often call him Jack. Also referred to as Jacksepticeye.

You: School is so boring! I cant wait to leave

SepticBro: You'll be out soon enough. Relax

You: Whatever. What are you doing?

SepticBro: Setting up for a new video

You: Oh, sorry! Didnt mean to interrupt

SepticBro: Don't worry about it. I can wait a few moments

You: What are you playing

SepticBro: Minecraft with Felix

You: Why can't school be like that

SepticBro: Stop complaining XD

Before I can reply to this text, an alarm sound goes off. The speaker goes off too. "Students, this is not a drill. There is a live shooter in hall 5. Please react accordingly. Hall 5? That's this hall! I mentally freak out. I know I can't go back to my classroom because the teacher will have already locked the door. I try hard to keep my head on. I head into a stall to think for a moment. I lift my feet up after locking the door. Maybe he won't come into the bathroom? No, I need a way out of the school. I know there is and empty classroom next to mine with large windows. Perfect for escape. I decide to wait until he has left the hall. I can hear him screaming for people to come out. He slams on lockers and doors. Tears flow freely from my face, but I put a hand over my mouth to muffle my sobs.

I hear heavy footsteps come into the bathroom. No, oh god please no. My worst nightmare comes true when my phone goes off, signalling another text from Jack. Why didn't I turn it off? The shooter had to have that. I can see his feet stop in front of my stall. I don't move. I don't blink. I don't breathe. I hope the shooter will think someone left their phone in here. But luck isn't on my side. The shooter slams on the stall door, startling me. I whimper a bit, but try not to make too much noise. He gives up on slamming, but now he knows I'm in here, and wants to hurt me. I see him climb onto his stomach. He crawls under that stall door. I scream as I see the wild look in his eyes. I roll under the side of the stall. Before I can leave the bathroom, the shooter frees himself form the stall, and shoots at me. The bullet lodges into my side. I cry out, and fall, but my will to live pushes me to get up and run again. I run to the empty classroom, and lock the door. I cry silently as I hear another shot go off. I pray he didn't find someone else. I know it wont be long before the blood trail I left leads him to the room.

As I feared, the shooter comes up to the door, slamming on it. I whimper in pain and fear. After a few more shouts, he gives up and moves to another door. I'm bleeding out, so I use my stained red jacket to make a bandage. It's red within a few moments. I feel myself gettin weaker. I use my last strength to text Jack, not wanting to make too much noise with his loud voice on the phone. The chances of him answering while recording are slim, but I'm too scared to care. I ignore grammar, and text, hoping I don't make so many mistakes that it's unintelligible.

SepticBro: I'm going to start the video now. Text ya later

You: Jack im scared

You: Theres an active shooter

You: Im hurt i got shot im so scared

You: I dont know if police were called

You: Dammit sean answer the phone

My eyelids get too heavy to keep texting. I drop my phone on the floor next to me. I can feel myself lose consciousness, lying on the cold floor. So cold.... so tired......

My phone is on silent, so my phone only vibrates, but it continues to go off. After the first few buzzes, I make a few jokes like, "Shut up phone!" or "I'm trying to play Minecraft, phone!" But it keeps buzzing. "Okay give me a second Felix. I need to see if it's (Y/n) texting me." "Okay, but don't come crying when I have all the diamonds." Felix's character sprints to the mine. I read the texts in horror. "Felix, I got to go. (Y/n)'s school is under attack." I say hurriedly. "What? What's happening—" I hear Felix say as I rush to take everything off. Without bothering to turn off everything, I call 911 on my phone. "My sister!"

I watch helplessly at the doors of the school. The police won't let me in the room. I showed them the texts from (Y/n), so the an ambulance is ready for in case the injuries are severe. Anxiety shoots through me. The already arrested the guy shooting. The police are currently looking for (Y/n). All other students have been accounted for, but (Y/n)'s teacher said she went to the bathroom. A few moments after receiving the information the police come out with a girl on a stretcher. "(Y/n)! That's my sister. Please let me through. I need to get to her!" The officer let me through, and I'm allowed to ride in the ambulance with her. They stabilize her before driving. I look down at her pale, unconscious form. I brush hair from her forehead, and tears pool in my eyes.

"You are going to be okay. It's going to be okay. Just pull through. I know you can (Y/n). I love you so much." The drive to the hospital is grim. My phone rings a few times; Felix is trying to call me. I decide to call him back after we get to the hospital. It isn't long before we arrive. They rush her right away to the ER, and usher me into a waiting room. Frustrated, I go somewhere quiet to call Felix again. Before I can call, he calls me again. I answer. "What the hell is happening man. Do you not know how to answer a phone? What do you mean (Y/n)'s school is under attack." I take a shaky breath. "There was a school shooting. (Y/n) got shot. I'm at the hospital right now, but I can't see her yet."

"Oh god. I'm so sorry, Jack." "I'm worried about her. She was so pale." My voice gives out. "She will pull through. She is strong, Jack." I nod even though he can't see. "I'm going to go, Felix." I hang up before he can reply. I pace around nervously.

A few hours later....

I look at the sleeping form of my little sister. I'm her guardian, and I didn't protect her. She shifts around. Her eyes open with a groan. "Jack?" I wipe my puffy eyes. "Oh (Y/n)!" I hug her as best I can without hurting her. "I was so scared." She sobs, grabbing on to me like her life depends on it. "I know. I know. Your okay now. Your okay." We stay wrapped in each other's arm for hours, grateful that (Y/n) is alive.
