Staring at the blades of the fan as it spins around

Ethan sat alone in the darkness, the glow of the TV flicking on and off as he played with the remote. He wasn't really interested in the TV, he just couldn't stand the silence.

(Y/n) parked outside of the familiar house, a place she once called home. Her headlights alerted Ethan of her arrival.

Ethan, having been waiting anxiously for her, swung the door open to reveal (Y/n). They both had bags under their eyes from lack of sleep, and disheveled posture, but they couldn't care less.
