Ethan P.O.V.

I woke up the next day to (Y/n) shaking again and mumbling. It also sounded like she was crying. "(Y/n)? (Y/n), what's wrong?" I ask with concern. A choked sobbing voice comes out of her. "What I said was so insensitive." She cries. "What?"

"What I said about the unicorns yesterday. That's was so insensitive." She's delirious. I stifle a laugh. "Babe, I think you're taking this unicorn thing too much to heart." I tell her. "But, but, but the unicorns!" I can't help it, I laugh now. "Stop laughing at me! I didn't mean to be rude! How could I say that! That's like saying all humans are the same sexuality." She sobs. I sit up, and rub her back. "Just relax (Y/n). It's alright. I'm sure the unicorns will forgive you." I tell her. She sniffs then coughs. "Shh, calm down." I calm her as the coughing fit passes. I feel her forehead. "You're still burning up. I'm going to get a cold washcloth."

"Don't. Want." She groans before gets up and rushes to the bathroom again. I follow after her. I grab her brush of the counter, and tie her hair back to the best of my ability. "How are you feeling today?" I ask once I've got her back in bed. She simply groans in response. I decide to take her temperature. I pinch the bridge of my nose when I see its 104 degrees. Meaning I should take her to the hospital. I don't know how to tell her this.

"(Y/n)? Your fever is a 104." She looks at me fearfully. "Don't make me go, Ethan! Don't make me go!" She pleads. "Shhh, calm down. They'll help, that's all. Relax." I shush. "I don't wanna go." She whimpers. My heart aches a little, but I know it'll be better for her. "It'll be okay." As soon as I remove the blanket, she goes limp, trying to make herself harder to pick up. I still do anyways. She's too weak to fight me. I get her into the passenger seat of the call, and drive to the hospital.

I carry her inside, but set her down at the front desk with her leaning on me. "Can I help you?"

"Yes, my girlfriend has been sick for about four days now. I've been given her antibiotics, and making sure she eats and everything, but her fever keeps climbing higher. It was 104 degrees this morning." I explain hurriedly. "I'll get a doctor out here, fill out these forms, please." She hands me a clipboard asking medical questions. "Ethan, I don't like it. I'm scared." I kiss her forehead. "I know, baby, but it'll be okay." I reassure. "Don't kiss me, you'll get sick." She still scolds. I chuckle a little. "Sorry." I hand the clipboard back right as a doctor appears. They pull her onto a stretcher, and start rolling her away. I try to follow, but am stopped.

"Sir, please sit and wait here. They're going to do some tests with her right now, and you can't be in there." The nurse tells me. "S-She's scared of the hospital. She'll freak out if I'm not with her." I argue. Sure enough, she starts trying to fight the doctors and get away.

"Sir, please wait." With an anxious and irritated huff, I sit down. I get a call, the ID being Mark. "Hey Mark." I sigh. "What's wrong? Is (Y/n) still sick?"

"Yeah, but I'm actually at the hospital right now. Her fever got too high, and now they're doing some tests while I'm stuck in the stupid waiting room. She's freaking out, Mark." I explain. "Right, she doesn't like doctors."

"Yeah, and I told them that, yet here I am."

"I'm sorry to hear that. Tell her I said to get well."

"Right...bye Mark." I hang up, and then a doctor comes up to me. "Ethan Nestor?" I nod. "You're girlfriend has severe pneumonia. We're going to prescribe to stronger antibiotics, and we'll be keeping her here overnight for observation. If you follow me, I'll take you to her room." When I see her, she looks much calmer then at home. She's not shaking as much, and her face isn't as tormented. "We had to use some mild sedatives to calm her. She will probably be awake, but might be a bit loopy." "Okay, Thank you."

I go into the room. She smiles brightly when she sees me. "Ethan! Isn't so beautiful?"

"Is what beautiful?"

"That. Looks at all the pretty colors." She points to a corner. I chuckle a little. "Just relax a little, (Y/n)." She nods. "Do I have to stay here?" She asks. I nod. "I'm sorry, but they'll help you get better." I promise. She takes my hand in hers. "As long as you are here." I smile, my heart warming. "I'm always right here."
