The woman behind the desk stared at Jerome curiously. His wig and glasses were just enough to keep him from being recognized. The lady looked back at Mercedes.

"Just my kids and husband. Coming to see grandma."

They passed security with no problems. It surprised Jerome. They walked past the wreck room and Mercedes was drawing attention like she did the other times she visited.

"Hey sweet lady. You came back. Are you sure it's not for me?"

"Hey who is that? I'm a real man sweetheart. Baby daddy ain't shit!"

Mercedes watched Jerome tense. She grabbed his hand.

"Ignore them..."

Mercedes gave Jerome a loving smile that calmed him. The officer stopped in front a metal door.

"Does she know you're all here?"

Mercedes shook her head no.

"It's a surprise."

The officer rolled her eyes. She punched in the code on the keypad and opened the door.

"You have an hour. Just buzz the system by the door when you want to leave."

Mercedes nodded. She looked at Jerome once the door was closed.

"She did not have to be a bitch about it."

"Mercedes? You came back."

Mercedes sighed and slowly walked past the wall in front of the glass.

"Hi mom..."

Her mother's eyes widened. She was staring at the baby boy in Mercedes's arms.

"You're not alone."

Mercedes nodded for Jerome to come out.

"No I'm not... I brought three people with me..."

"Are those..."

Mercedes sighed and nodded yes.

"Yes. Your grandchildren... This is Jessie Sawyer Valeska and that's Aislinn Eleina Valeska..."

Her mother eyed the man with Mercedes weirdly. Jerome held Aislinn with one arm on his side and removed the wig and glasses. Mercedes's mother rolled her eyes.

"Of course. You're very brave to come back here. Even in disguise."

Mercedes stepped forward.

"Stop. You are not arguing with my husband."

Jerome stood next to Mercedes.

"Tell us what we need to know. We all know there is more to it."

Her mother crossed her arms.

"Bring the babies closer."

Mercedes narrowed her eyes.

"Excuse me?"

Her mother laughed slightly.

"I'm not tell you anything until I get to really look at my grandkids."

Mercedes groaned. Jerome shook his head.

"Fine. I didn't want to even see them mom, but we need to know the information."

Mercedes stepped really close to the glass. Her mother beamed with excitement.

"So this is little Jessie Sawyer. He's very handsome."

Jessie blinked, staring at the woman behind the glass. Mercedes stepped back. Jerome stepped close to the glass reluctantly.

"Awe. Aislinn Eleina. Such a pretty name."
