"Oh, would. You. Shut. The fuck up! Stop whining! Geeze! I have two four year old! I hear enough whining at home!"
Jerome's fiery orange hair slicked back across his head. One stubborn strand fell on his forehead. He groaned due to the fact that he thought he had finally fixed his problem with that strand. It came back out at the most annoying time. He stared around the room at his hostages. He was standing on the stage in the auditorium of Gotham's Shakespearean Dramatic School of Arts. The school was on lockdown. All of the cowering theatre majors had fright and grief written all over their faces. Their dead teach was sprawled out the stage in a pool of blood. Jerome wasted no time putting a bullet in his head. A female student slowly decided to get brave and speak.
"What do want...?"
Jerome gave her a morbid grin.
"I was hoping someone would ask. See what I want is very simple. My wife freed from Arkham."
The woman gave him a frightened look.
"But... Arkham is where dangerous.. crazy people like her... go.."
Jerome gripped the young frightened woman by the throat and lifted her off of the ground. The rest of her class yelped in fear.
"My wife is not dangerous or crazy! She didn't deserve to be raped! No one does!"
The woman dropped to the ground with a hard thud. She coughed and gasped for air. Jerome let his maniacal laugh fall on their ears. The woman rubbed her throbbing throat. Jerome waved the gun around the room and aimed it at random people. Each student shrinking into themselves.
"I want each of you to know that I was already working on a plan to break her out anyways. I just needed to sort out one last detail, but now that my doll face has been hurt, the police are going to release her."
The same woman Jerome picked up off the ground spoke again.
"Hasn't she hurt people though...? And you just came in here and shot our teacher.."
Jerome clinched his fists. He turned to the woman with an annoyed expression.
"You don't know half the shit we have been through! You also don't know what they do to people in that God awful place! Medieval torture! She doesn't deserve to be in there!"
"Then why didn't you just go to the GCPD?"
Jerome's laugh erupted from his throat.
"Call my overexaggerated, but I do love an old fashioned hostage negotiation. I also chose theatre because she was apart of it in high school. She loved it and I thought this would be cute. Just waiting for them to get here. If they take too long though, more of you will die. And.."
Jerome aimed his gun at the young woman.
"I'll start with you miss annoying sunshine."
The woman shivered as his wicked grin pierced a whole through her. Police sirens rang from outside the building. Jerome jumped with excitement.
"Bingo!"
Mercedes and Oriena set eating their lunch patiently. Mercedes finally gave her the smirk Oriena was looking for. Mercedes grabbed her empty tray and carried it to the return station. Oriena instantly walked around the cafeteria throwing trays around the room. Mercedes turned to stare at her in shock. She screamed and started smashing trays into peoples' head and screaming. The lunch lady behind the counter groaned. Mercedes stared at the lady confused as she walked around the counter.
