Mercedes was grateful that Diablo allowed her to clean up, but she was even more grateful that he left her alone while she did it. She set in her car in the middle of the woods. She noticed a camera zooming in on her car. She could see the green night vision light activated. She slowly stepped out of the car. She waved to the camera with a smile. After a few moments the Camera turned back to its original position. Mercedes noticed the cameras were watching her while she walked to the bunker. She shook her head laughing and thought to herself.

"He really is over protective."

"Hello Mercedes."

Mercedes jumped almost fifteen feet in the air. She grabbed her heart.

"Karen... you scared me..."

"I am sorry Mercedes. I did not intend on scaring you. Jeremiah informed me that you were on your way to the house."

Mercedes laughed.

"It's perfectly fine. I just have something important to talk about."

The bunker door instantly opened. 

"Thank you Karen."

The bunker was oddly quiet. Ecco was asleep. Mercedes checked the first place she always knew to look. Jeremiah instantly looked up from his desk with a smile. 

"Everything okay beautiful?"

Mercedes couldn't help her smile. She laughed.

"I didn't know if you would even be awake. Why are you up?"

Jeremiah raised his eyebrow. 

"I'm always up late. You know that."

Mercedes nodded. Her smile slowly faded. Jeremiah instantly stood up. He walked around his desk.

"Is something wrong..?"

Mercedes shook her head.

"I have something serious to talk about with you. Very serious.."

Jeremiah set back on the edge of his desk. He tilted his head in interest. Mercedes sighed. She slowly pulled up her oversized shirt to reveal her growing stomach.

"I'm pregnant..."

Jeremiah set up straight.

"You decided to come to my home and tell me you are pregnant with another one of my brother's babies..?"

Mercedes started to lightly shake. A few tears escaped her eyes.

"Jerome and I... haven't had sex since... that night I had sex with you..."

Jeremiah stared at her confused. Mercedes wiped her tears. Jeremiah instantly stood up from his desk when he clued in. 

"Mercedes..."

She nodded.

"It's yours..."

Jeremiah stared at her in shock. She took in a deep breath and spoke after letting it out.

" Jerome already knows everything... My first priority was to come tell you.. but so much happened.. I never stopped thinking about coming to tell you... I'm keeping the baby.. I fell in love with them.. I can't give them up..."

Jeremiah shook his head slightly.

"You could have pretended it was Jerome's baby and never told me.. You could have just went about your life.."

Mercedes walked towards Jeremiah. He leaned against his desk.

"Miah... I could never do that to you.. I came here because.. you deserve to know that you have a child. You also deserve.. the chance to be a father.. if you want to be.."
