Chapter 85

~~~~[y/n] POV~~~~

I open my eyes only to be met with darkness, my body was hot, and my lungs where stinging, I get up only for someone to push me down softly "lay down [y/n], you need to rest"

"Dad?" I asked looking around

"Yeah, it's me, how are you feeling?"

"Everything hurts"

"It's okay" he kisses my forehead and rubbing my cheeks, his hands where cold and it felt nice

"Where's Eri?"

"She's at home with Hizashi, they should be coming"

"Can I talk to Eri really quick, on the phone"

"Alright" he calls Hizashi and he hands me the phone, in the most secretive way I can muster I told her to grab the U.S.B

"Yeah, I got it"

"Thank you Eri" I hung up and laid back down

They explained what happened to my eyes, and that it's my quirk that was doing the damage, I just sat there taking the news

I hear the door open, Eri's and Uncle Hizashi's voice chimes in, I felt Eri's hand slid the U.S.B into mine and I hid it under the pillows "did they see" I whispered to her

"No, don't worry" she said back, I sighed out and laid back down

It feels like every few hours my breathing shortens, and my body weakens, I just groan and rub my eyes in hopes of some miracle that my sight will come back

It didn't and I'm still blind, I hear another person walk in and it was a voice I don't recognize "may I speak to her father"

"That will be me" I hear him walk away and I sit there waiting for him to come back, after awhile I hear the door open

"I need you guys to leave for now, we'll do visiting hours later" I hear them leave and I start freaking out

"C-can I ask, what's happening"

"Where just gonna run test on you, it won't hurt" she grabbed my hand and put something inside my arm

It's took awhile until they where done, and I hear there footsteps fade away, I was left alone in this empty room

It's so quiet it's uneasy, I can hear a little pin drop from a mile away, I started coughing again and more liquids came out, I wiped them off and started to fiddle with my thumbs as time passes by

I hear the door open and my dads voice chimes in "dad, what's happening to me" I asked

"Don't worry" was all he said, I know he's lying, whenever he says 'don't worry' or 'it's alright' he sounds genuine or happy, but he sounds worried and scared

Something is wrong with me, I mean what's right about me, nothing really, I have so many problems that's going on in my body that doctors are taking blood samples and coming in and out to check up on me

I can understand if my dad wants to keep whatever is going on a secret, so I won't be scared about anything, but I'm not scared anymore, if the worst outcome is death then I guess that's what's gonna happen, and I'm not afraid of that anymore, but what I am afraid is losing everyone, I'll miss the class, there like my family

But what can I do to stop this whole ordeal, I can't, you can't stop death, nothing can

"[y/n]" I hear Kota's voice

"Kota?"

"Yeah, what happened, why are you here again" he asked

"I became sick"

"Will you get better"

"I don't know"

"But you have to, who am I gonna play games with, who am I gonna hang out with"

"I can't play games anymore" I can feel tears threatening to pour out

"Why?"

"I can't see anymore, I'm blind" I explained, I had tears running down my cheeks, but I felt him hug me

"We don't have to play games to hang out" I hugged him back burying my face, I know I'm not coming out of this hospital, so I have to say goodbye to everyone, before it's too late

I just wish I can see there faces once more before I go...
