Prompt: SydneyWrites02- Wattpad - Either because of a failed experiment, or a villains quirk, Shouta ends up seeing some of Izuku's worst memories from when he was a child (including when he was told to kill himself).
I decided to use this as an opportunity as to explain what Izuku's childhood was like. All of these are genuine memories that my Izuku actually went through. Though, Shouta seeing them isn't part of the actual story.
THIS CHAPTER TOOK SO FUCKING LONG! THAT'S WHY IT'S RUSHED AT THE END! JEEZ! TOOK ME TWO DAYS! I don't regret it but still!
Warnings: Panic Attacks, Angst, Rape Attempt, Bullying, Trauma

Shouta's POV
I wake up in a doctor's office of sorts, specifically the examination room.
What happened? As I try to figure it out, I jerk up to see a woman, an older man, and a child entering the room. Just as I am about to go and hide, I realize that they are looking directly at me, yet they aren't freaking out.
They don't see me.
I look at the three people, and while I don't recognize the man, I do recognize the woman and child.
Inko and Izuku. This is the two of them younger.
That's when I have an idea of what happened: Izuku and I were fighting, and I must have got hit with a villain's quirk. The quirk, called Horror Memory, sends the victim through another victim's worst memories.
I'm going through Izuku's worst moments. He's going to be pissed when I come out of here. Hopefully, I don't see anything too bad.
Inko is much younger here as she lacks the wrinkles and body weight. She doesn't seem as stressed as I usually see her. She has the young mom look.
Izuku, on the other hand, is very different.
Unlike what Izuku normally wears, he wears a loose shirt, shorts, and socks without shoes, something he never does as it's unhygienic. Maybe Izuku wasn't always germaphobic? It was triggered? I don't see a mischievous smile ready for trouble rather he has a genuine smile, seemingly excited. He still struggles to stay still, but now it's put in a cuter light. In his hand, he holds an already solved Rubix cube. Izuku looks frail to who I know today. He holds genuine kindness. I can see it in his eyes.
Everything is innocent until the doctor drops the bomb,
"Your son should just give up on his dream because he's quirkless."
A loud smack can be heard as the Rubix cube falls from Izuku's hand. His face carries disbelief, and frankly, I can't blame him. That isn't the way to tell a kid news that will change his life.
The memory disappears as Inko talks to the doctor.
---
I recognize this room. It's one of the rooms at Izuku's old apartment.
The room is completely dark besides the computer monitor that shows All Might's debute video screaming 'I AM HERE.'
When the door cracks open to show Inko, Izuku turns around and asks in the most innocent voice, "M-momma...can I b-be a hero?"
While I am one that stops dreams, I don't stop them in kids. I stop them in teenagers when they need to stop.
I certainly didn't expect Inko's response.
Inko suddenly runs over to Izuku, bends down, and pulls him into a hug, "I'm s-sorry, Izuku!"
Jesus Christ, kid. I quickly look around to notice little handmade gadgets here and there, and multiple blueprints decorate the desk the computer sits on. Izuku had potential there, yet Inko ignored it.
