Izuku had to close his eyes and cover his face with his arms. Thank fuck he added automatic shield protection, but it he knew the strength of that explosions destroyed it because he feel burns all over his body.

When he lowers his arms, he is shocked by the amount of damage. The building he was in all the city around is destroyed. It looks like a goddamn apocolypse. He looks toward where he left the people he knocked out only to find them gone.

They're dead.

Honestly, he hopes that Shouta managed to evacuate everyone within the area as he suggested. Since he doesn't hear any screaming nearby, they either died or did get evacuated.

He seriously hoped it was the second.

Izuku looks up at Shigaraki to see him still intact with a frown, which is expected since he should have resistance for that quirk. He knew he would use it as he obtained it recently, but he didn't think that soon!

"I should have known you have some defense for it. However, you won't last for long."

Shigaraki, using all his quirks , immediately appears next to Izuku, barely giving him a chance to dodge.

"CAT, max power!" Izuku commands to his visor, allowing him to increase his speed and strength. However, Shigaraki manages to land a hit during that single moment. Loud cracks can be heard as he flies several feet (meters) before crashing. Izuku quickly stands and misses a kick from Shigaraki.

Izuku needs to focus on dodging. He won't be able to land a hit at the moment.

Shigaraki grins,

"You're never gonna make it! You're not good enough! There's a million other people with the same stuff! You think you're different? Man, you must be kidding! Think you're gonna hit it, but you just don't get it! It's impossible, it's not probable. You're irresponsible, too many obstacles. You gotta stop it, yo. You gotta take it slow. You can't be a pro, don't waste your time no more!"

"Boom burst!" Izuku yells as he aims his booster at Shigaraki. A large flow of air comes from it, pushing the boy back. Izuku jumps forward and aims for a punch to the head, but Shigaraki grabs his right arm to stop him, starting to distingergrate it fast as the clothes and metal disappear almost instantanously. Izuku shoots a grapple at Shigaraki's free wrist and pulls him close to kick him in the ribs hard. Shigaraki is burned in those locations due to the electricity surrounding Izuku. The man stumbles, and Izuku takes the chance to back up to prepare for dodging again. It's a waiting game he hates, but he grins as he goes back to it,

"Who the fuck are you to tell me what to do? I don't give a damn if you say you disapprove! I'm gonna make my move! I'm gonna make it soon! And I'll do it 'cause it's what I want to fucking do! Cause all these opinions and all these positions.
They coming in millions, they're blocking your vision. But no, you can't listen, that shit is all fiction cause you hold the power as long as you're driven!"

Izuku gets close to landing a kick on Shigaraki's head, but Shigaraki grabs his leg, decaying the clothes and skin before he throws Izuku to the distance, causing him to roll. Shigaraki approaches Izuku with a sadistic grin,
