“Hoy! Pwede ba na tumigil ka riyan kalalakad?”
Narating ni Pion ang sasakyan nila. Hawak na niya ang pintuan upang buksan iyon ngunit tumigil siya saka tiningnan ang babae na magkalandas ang mga kamay sa dibdib nito.
“What?”
“Anong ‘what’? Nagseselos ka sa isang bagay na hindi naman dapat. Andrius is nothing to me and he’s not my ideal man.”
“At sino? Si Silver?” hindi niya maiwasang itanong iyon kaya’t kitang kita niya ang pagtaas ng kilay ni Danelle
“Hindi.” Dumiretso ang babae sa kanilang kotse saka tahimik iyong sumakay doon. Wala naman siyang nagawa kung hindi ang sumunod. Hinatid niya ito hanggang sa kanilang bahay at maging sa mga oras na iyon ay tahimik pa rin si Danelle.
“Are you mad?” Pion asked as soon as he got out of the car
“Hindi.” Danelle answered shortly
“I’m not convinced.”
Tumingin si Danelle sa lalaki na nasa unahan lang niya. Huminga muna siya ng malalim bago muling nagsalita.
“Hindi ako galit, nagtatampo lang.”
“Bakit?”
She rolled her eyes. “Dahil sayo malamang. It looks like hindi mo ako pinagkakatiwalaan. Your throwing a lot of men to me making me look like I am such a playgirl.”
Pion smiled. “You are.”
Danelle looked at him with disbelief. Her lips are parted and her eyes just widened upon hearing the man in front of her and the heck of his guts, he still got to smile.
“Anong sinabi mo? Ako? Playgirl? Wow.”
He moved his head a bit like he’s saying ‘I don’t know’. “I got it. You have weeks of boyfriend in Washington and dumped them. You’re not really a playgirl.”
She did her best not to freak out but obviously, he’s trying to mock her. How did he even knew her life in America?
“Paano mo nalaman ang mga ‘yan?” hindi lubos naisip ni Danelle na mapag-uusapan nila ang bagay na ito.
“Connections?”
Danelle is annoyed with the man. He’s trying to pick a fight with her and her she is, calming herself. She licked her lips, brushed her hair, and looked away.
“Kung galing ‘yan kay Mino, well, he obviously had a grudge on me kasi hindi ko siya pinatulan.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Anong ibig mong sabihin?”
“Your friend tried to hit on me but he’s not my type and I really hate his guts. And you know what? Unbelievably, here I am in a relationship with his friend who’s messing around, digging up my pasts and bringing up that I was once a playgirl. Oh, yes! Well yes. I am a playgirl. See you when I see you.” She turned her back from him and closes the gate.
“Fuck.” Pion muttered as soon as the woman left. Now, he’s not in good terms with her.
Gabing gabi nang magtungo si Pion sa bahay ng kaibigan. Nagulat pa ito noong una nang makita siya ngunit agad din siyang pinapasok nito. Tulad dati, sinalubong na naman siya nito na walang damit pang itaas at may hawak na naman na basong may lamang wine.
“What brought you here, Captain?” he smiled and leaned his back on the sofa
“Live a life, De Guzman. Hindi kita nakikitang walang alak sa kamay.”
His friend looked at him amazed. “Woah, woah! This isn’t you, my friend. Iba talaga ang may minamahal, ano? Tumitino.” Mino said while smiling
