Adonis held her in his arms, but when the blood disappeared he held her closer. He was crying, he never knew that she was suffering that much. He picked her up and took her to her room, she was still unconscious.  He stared at her for a moment before going to get some cold towels to help cool her down. She was burning up and sweat covered her forehead, it looked like she was having a nightmare.

He stayed up taking care of her, his worry didn't go away until she woke up the next morning. She sprung up, she screamed slightly. She looked around her to see if she was still dreaming.

"Why are you still here?" She asked while getting up. He watched her and stood up as well.

"Because I was worried about you. You shouldn't go to school today." He yawned out, he rubbed his eyes then grabbed her arm.

"Don't leave me. Not yet, you still have time. We still have time, Aviana, don't leave me. I'm tired, tired of people leaving or hurting me. I won't let it happen anymore." He pulled her to him. The hug was short but it got the message through to her.

"Even if I didn't want to leave it wouldn't mean anything, Adonis. I'm leaving at the end of the month." She was about to walk out of the room.

"What did I just say? Don't leave me. I know you will leave, I acknowledge that much. But don't leave me now, we still have time before you leave." He voice broke and he back hugged her. She didn't look at him, her heart was as cold as ever but at the same time, she wanted to cry.

"Why? It will only hurt you more, don't you see that? Adonis, I wanted to see you grow. I want to see you happy, you to be free from your curse. Unlike me, I wanted you to have that freedom I could never have.  Adonis, let go." She spoke calmly, with very little emotion but she was screaming on the inside.

Trying to call him for help, her demons dragging her to her own hell. She wanted to be free but couldn't do it, so she freed others. Three years, never once had anyone thought she was struggling with her own demons. Not until Adonis. She wanted him to save her, she wanted to scream his name and tell him to not let go, to hold her tighter. She wanted him to tell her to stay, that he would keep her safe. Safe from the world and herself. She wanted that so much but didn't tell him. And he let go, her heart fell, along with the last of her hope.

"I'll let go of you physically, but I won't ever let go of you."  He walked past her and left. She fell to the ground, tears poured out of her eyes. No blood, but that doesn't mean to pain wasn't there.

After hearing her cries from outside, Adonis reached for the door handle but stopped himself. He wanted to go and hug her, tell her everything would be fine. But then he stopped himself.

"I caused her to cry. I'm the last person-" He mumbled to himself until he heard her scream.

"Why won't anyone save me?" He rushed in and hugged her, no regrets. She cried in his arms for a while. A headache and swollen eyes being a side effect. He picked her up and set her down on the couch and made her some food. She watched him, her eyes never leaving his figure.

"What? Am I that handsome?" He asked chuckling, she nodded.

"Yes, you are." He froze, he looked up to her. And for a moment, neither breathed or moved.  He felt his cheeks turn a different color but he didn't care. She smiled at him and tilted her head.

"Am I that pretty?" She joked but he nodded. Her eyes went wide for a bit.

"The most beautiful girl I've ever met or seen." He whispered but he was too far away and too quiet. Confused she scrunched her eyebrows.
