What's In The Past Doesn't Stay That Way

Life has a funny way of kicking you down. The farther you fall the harder it is to get back up, but not always. For everything in this world knows that nothing is impossible, just not done yet.

"We know three things, the three of you are all cursed. Aviana's mother is after two of you and Adonis is in her way. And Adonis has an angel following him which has helped." James said, he put a finger down everytime he said a thing.

"That's true, but I don't see him anymore." Aviana said, her legs crossed as well as her arms. Luca by her side, leaning forward. His elbows resting on his knees. Adonis standing in the corner of the room, his arms folded.

"I don't feel him anymore." Adonis walked forward and sat down.

"I can't hear him." Luca confirmed what the other two were saying.

"So, he's no longer with us. Great." James sighed and sat down.

"It's fine, I'm sure things are looking up." Aviana smiled and patted his back.

"I'm no longer sick, so my curse is gone." Luca rubbed his chin.

"People have been smiling at me, so mine is gone as well." Adonis said, James looked at him.

"He is more likable for some reason." James nodded, Adonis rolled his eyes.

"Thanks." He sarcastically thanked him.

"Yeah, he's gotten less attractive." Aviana states and Luca turned to her, she looked back up to him and chuckled.

"SO, he's also gotten ride of his curse. That only leaves you, Aviana." James pointed to her.

"Oh! Don't say it like that, pa. I'm fine, it's been slow and  happening every other day." 

"Really?" He said surprised. She nodded.

"Really." 

"Okay then, the angel has left and so have two out of the three curses."

"Aviana's mother had backed off me, fear overrides anything." Adonis looked up to James.

"She's gotten more aggressive towards me though." Luca turned to Adonis.

"Like the morning she threw me out the window." Luca whispered, Aviana's head snapped to him.

"What?" Her voice raised.

"Adonis was going to pick me up, I was waiting in my room. She came to me and convinced me to jump out the window. But she saved me before I hit the ground.

"She told me that she wouldn't kill me but she will be there when I die. I walked up the stairs and since no one was in the living room I came in."

"Luca, I was cleaning the living room the whole morning. I didn't see you." Aviana grabbed his arm.

"I never saw you come in either." Adonis shook his head, Luca was confused now.

"But...?" 

"She's a spirit, she has no power. Luca, she couldn't have saved you." Everyone looked to him.

"Then how am I still here?" He asked, tears threatening to fall.

"It never happened. That's the only thing that makes sense." Adonis stood up and walked over to him.

"Tell us everything that happened."

"Well, I umm. I was in my room catching up on work when I felt the bed go down behind me. She started to talk to me and grabbed my hair. She pulled me to the window, her voice sounded sweet. She whispered something and made me repeat her words.
