Happily Ever After

"Tell me, what is your choice?" His eyes dug holes into Lilith. His smile looked as if he was tricking her.

"I choose to save him." His smile widened.

"Ah, I see." His hand started to glow, and he put in on her chest right over her heart. He then put his other one on Adonis's chest. 

"A life for a life. A soul for a soul. A death for a death. May this death end and life begin." He looked into her eyes.

"Ready for this?" She nodded, her eyes shut tightly. He smirked and his eyes glowed.

"Good." She fell over with a loud thump. Adonis' eyes opened and he took a deep breath.

"Lilith!" He grabbed her.

"She's gone." Adonis looked around trying to see who the voice belonged to.

"What?" His voice quivered.

"She is no longer here. She's in heaven, don't worry. And lucky for you, her soul was big enough to save your friend. Luca's alive as well. But be aware, you are now the living dead. You have cheated death, your soul is no longer with you and you won't ever die. Good luck." 

"Wait! Please, no. She's not supposed to die!" 

"It's a bit to late for that. I didn't trick her or anything, she is now dead and not even I can turn that around. Now, like I said. Good luck." The voice faded. Adonis screamed, he grabbed the phone and called for the police. They took her away, and Luca ran to him.

"Are you okay?" He asked as he hugged Adonis.

"No, and I never will be." He pushed Luca off.

"Don't be like this." Luca tried to grabbed Adonis' arm but Adonis put his hand up.

"I need time. I can't be here, I'm going back to America." Adonis walked past Luca. Luca sighed.

"I can't go with you."

"I know, that's the point." 

..............A Year Later...........

"How are you?" Luca asked, the phone in between his shoulder and face.

"I'm doing good, I passed." Adonis replied.

"That's good, I'm proud of you and I know that Lilith would be." He heard Adonis chuckle.

"I like to think so. I still smell her perfume. Weird huh?" Luca stopped writing.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's fine. Well it's not but not because of you. I'm doing this for her, and for James." Luca smiled.

"I'm so f*cking proud, Adonis." Luca smiled. Adonis chuckled.

"You don't have to get all emotional on me."

"Of course I do, my best friend became a police officer. I'm extremely proud."

"Well, I have plenty of time." 

"So do I."

"Do you speak English?" Adonis asked the woman at the stand. She looked at him for a moment before turned to Lee.

"I would take that as a no." She laughed. Adonis huffed before storming off. Lee ran after.

"I'm sorry!" She laughed harder until he did as well.
