Getting the heart started, that's all he had to do. But it sounds easier than it is. Luca stopped after Adonis ripped him off of James. Luca kept trying to get to James. But Adonis held him, Luca gave up and hugged Adonis. He cried his heart out, Adonis sighed and patted his back. Things weren't supposed to go down like this. Death isn't permanent, not for everyone. Sadly though, it is for James Rillin.
Adonis grabbed his phone and called Lilith. She called 999 after. They waited. Luca was in the car, he stared at the ground with a blank expression. There was a time in his life when everyone thought he couldn't feel. Now, that may be true.
"James Rillin, his name is James Rillin." Adonis told the police officers.
                              "The James Rillin?" He nodded.
"Shame. I heard it was his daughter." Another police officer mumbled to her partner.
"I would appreciate if you wouldn't talk about that. My friend just lost his father, and I lost a friend." Adonis walked up to them.
                              "Sorry." They quickly stopped talking.
"Thank you. We don't need to see him again, we know it's him." Adonis walked to his car. Lilith was in there with Luca. She was crying and holding onto. He sat still and let her hold on to him while crying into his arm. Adonis's eyes started to water, he held his breath.
"We should leave. I'll drive." He gulped down the knot in his throat and got in the driver's seat. They drove to the police station. Adonis got out, he was pissed.
"I would like to see Aviana Rillin." They nodded and led him to her cell.
"Oh. You." She was sitting on the floor.
"He's dead. We found him but I was to late. Barely late, congratulations Aviana your worse than your mother. You killed someone, someone you cared about. Now you have no one." He turned around and left. Aviana sat there, tears in her eyes.
"You killed him?" She breathed out. And in one sharp breath she screamed.
"F*ck!" She started to cry, pulling out her hair and scratching at her face.
Adonis heard her as he walked out. He didn't feel for her though, no matter what. She killed James Rillin. He got out and took a deep breath before getting in the car. He tried to remain calm, for the other two. But now all he could think was about James's late moments.
"Let's go home." He whispered, but they didn't hear him. Lilith was to busy crying and Luca was in his head. Adonis sighed and nodded to himself. He started the car and drove off.
                              .........A Week Later..........
"May your soul rest in peace." The priest said as they lowered the coffin into the grave. Lilith was holding onto Adonis and crying. Luca was standing and staring into the hole where his father was to be buried.  He took a deep breath and turned away. He looked up to the sky, it was a sunny warm day. He cursed the sky, for not showing the right weather. Adonis cried silently to himself, not wanting to bother anyone else.
The hole started to be filled with dirt. Luca walked away, and over time only Lilith and Adonis stood at his grave.
"I'm sorry. I wish I could have done better." Adonis sniffled. Lilith looked up to him.
"Let's go, I can't be here anymore." Adonis nodded and they walked away.
Lilith went to the bathroom. Adonis walked over to Luca and stood by him.
"How are you doing?" He turned his head to him.
"I'm alive. And Aviana's alive. So, not good." He was leaning against a tree and was smoking.
"If you need anything, just call." Luca nodded.
"I will. Excuse me." He got off the tree and walked into the croud of people.
"It is true that James Rillin's daughter Aviana Moore killed him?"
"What do you have to say about all of this Mr. Rillin?"
"Don't call me that." He glared at the reporter. Adonis ran over.
"Please, he just lost his father. Please consider his feelings." He stepped in front of Luca. Luca scoffed and pushed Adonis to the side.
"I can handle myself just fine. You, what's your name?" He asked the reporter.
                              "Alan Nat, Sir." Luca nodded.
"If you don't leave now, I'll make sure you don't have a job after this story." Luca walked past Adonis, knocking shoulders with him.
"Please listen to him, he's serious." The reporter turned around and left.
"I don't need you to baby me. I'm not broken." It was now Adonis's turn to scoff.
"Are you kidding me? You want to tell me that, when you are clearly hurt by his death?" Adonis yelled back.
"You aren't my father! Leave me alone." Luca left, Adonis sighed and waited for Lilith.
"Let's go home." She nodded confused.
"Home it is then." They opened the door and flipped the lights on. But as soon as he did so, he felt like something went through him and he fell down.
"Adonis!" Lilith screamed and held onto his head.
"I'm fine, call Luca." He held onto his chest. He face was turning red. Lilith nodded and called Luca.
"Luca!" She yelled once he picked up the phone.
"The number your trying to reach isn't available at the moment. I don't think he'll be after this as well." Lilith's eyes went wide.
"Who are you?" She heard the lady on the other end chuckle.
"Why, I'm Avina Rillin. I'm here to collect." She hung up. Lilith looked down to Adonis.
"Adonis!" His face was purple, and his eyes were white. She tried to wake him up.
"That's not going to work." She turned around when she heard the man's voice.
"Who are you?" He was in the corner, his arms folded.
"My names Hilo. I can fix him, if you want." He walked closer.
                              "How?"
"A soul for a soul. A price for a price." He kneeled by Adonis.
"So what do you say? Lilith Moore?" Her eyebrows scrunched up.
                              "My last name isn't Moore."
"It is if I say so. Now, Lilith. Make a choice." He put his hand on Adonis's chest. She bit her lip and looked down to Adonis. She caressed his cheek and brushed some of his hair out of eyes. She looked back up to Hilo. He was smiling, his smile almost fake.
"Tell me, what is your choice?"
