20: What If?

My name is Adonis Moore, I was born in America. In a poor family, and never in my life did I think I would be able to come the Europe. I'm in London, England and I've never had such fun. The girl I love, maybe, is still in the States and so is my father. I'm with a guy I've not known longer than a week, but I trust him like a brother. I feel like I'm learning and having fun, like I never thought. I never thought my life would change so much because of a girl. And for a second, I almost didn't let her in my life.

We have reached our 20th chapter, and as a thanks this is a little 'What If Chapter?' Lets begin!

"Would you like to know me?" She asked, her hand stuck out and a small smile across her lips. I stared at her hand and shook my head. It didn't feel like I would get anything out of it, only get hurt. So I closed the door and locked it. I went back to my couch and watched TV.

I stood there for a moment before leaving, I was so sure that he would want a friend. I thought I would have a friend. I walked to the park I always go to. I have no idea, why I still come here. It won't change anything. I watched the Ice Cream man serve the icy treat, not getting up to get some myself. I wasn't in the mood. I was going to try again, tomorrow. Maybe then he'll say yes.

I left to school and got there a good twenty minutes before the bell. I saw her, she seemed to walk to me. I scoffed, I don't want to have to deal with her. I closed my locker and walked the other way. I had to keep walking around the school, her following me until the bell. After that I never had to deal with her. I found someone who understood me, she's amazing. Very beautiful, and kind, everything any guy would want. I also have a guy friend. His name is Luca, he's friends with the weird girl. They are a little more than friends, more like brother and sister.

I don't mind her as much as I did. But she has a curse, I told her not to hang around us as much. She didn't mind, and shrugged.

"I wouldn't want to hang with someone who thinks he's better than everyone. I have enough, I don't need another thing holding me down." She walked away after, she didn't care. It pissed me off, but I ignored it.

"Let's go party!" Luca screamed, a red cup in his mouth. He was shirtless and had bleached his hair a blond on top.

"Let's go!" I wrapped my arm around his neck and walked with him. We were at my place, he helped my father get a better job and we got a house. But he looks very tired all the time and unhappy. We drank and drank until sunlight. I had to get my stomach pumped. Luca was off with a girl. I wanted to punch him, my girl? Oh yeah, she was probably f**king some other dude. I felt like shit and yet no one was here for me.

OKAY, I was just joking, like hell my babies would turn into jerks!.............

"Would you like to know me?" She asked, her hand stuck out and a small smile across her lips.

I let her in for a bit but her words didn't intrigue me, so I told her to leave. After that she left me alone. I went to work, and studied like normal. Everyday, the normal boring shit over and over. Even though I got into my dream college it didn't feel like I was doing it for the right reasons. Like my dream job, but I don't even know if I want to be a doctor anymore.

I have gotten my life together, I'm with my father and Luca. He's been great, I feel like old times. But my feelings have started to grow for him. My father loves him like a son already, I love him.

"Luca?" He turned to me, a smile on his face. My heart beating faster.

"Would, you marry me?" I let my words out, he stopped. I froze, what if he says no?

"But we haven't even dated. Are you sure?" He kneeled down, I nodded. He smiled.

"If that's what you want, I won't stop you." I hugged him, my arms around his neck. My father popped out and hugged us both. We all laughed.

"Next step, grandbabies!" He exclaimed, I laughed. Luca kissed me. Our first kiss, on the night I proposed.

I went everyday to school and became a doctor. I helped hundreds of people, and I met a guy. We became friends and he introduced me to his wife. They had moved from London, newly weds to. They looked so happy, she had some friends that she thought I would like. I ended up with one of them, we are married and have a son. He's best friends with Luca and Aviana's daughter.

I have never been happier, the longer I spent time with her the more happy she became and more cheerful. I thought I had a curse, but I no longer think that.

What If Luca and Aviana ended up together?........

"Would you like to know me?" She asked, her hand stuck out and a small smile across her lips.

"No. I think you would be safer away from me." I shut the door. She didn't bother me after that but she did end up working with me. We started to talk naturally, her father told her that she could study abroad.

I told her to go, and not long after went myself. We are getting married in July, it's December now. I can't wait to start our new life, together. Her best, friend Luca came to visit, we clicked as well. He's now my friend, we go out for drinks, he always drinks more but is fine after. He found a girl, she's  beautiful. Just not as beautiful as Aviana. They have a kid, they won't get married though. She wants to find a good time and place. He lives in London but comes here for work a lot, she wants to marry in a place she's never been. He wants whatever she wants.

Their son is about two, he is very playful and touches Aviana's tummy a lot.

"Baby." He points to her stomach, she nods and laughs.

What if Aviana and Adonis ended up together?

This is all with the other stuff never happening because of the way they met.

"Would you like to know me?" I stuck out my hand, she took it with a smile.

"I would love to!" Aviana ran, my hand still in hers. She was younger but had a stronger grip.

"Come on Luca, Don't be so slow! It's raining out." She stopped and looked to Luca.

"I guess we can't play." She was about to turn away when he stopped her.

"Why? When it snows you build a snowman, when it rains, you jump in puddles!  And dance!" He pulled her outside. She giggled, he moved around, dancing. She followed his movements.

That day was the first day Luca Pilieo and Aviana Rillin became friends. That day changed their lives. One moment, one person, huge impact.

Luca woke up, his breathing hard. He got out of bed and walked to the kitchen. Adonis heard him and woke up.

What if Adonis And Luca became best friends and never ever not had each others backs? What if that was happening right now? Their friendship being crafted right in front of our eyes? What if Aviana had just gotten released and was on her way to London? What if everything was about to come crashing down? What if?
