Lee started to hike, she was holding onto tree's to help her move up the steep hill. Adonis was in front of her. Every step felt like someone was trying to pull her down. When they got to the top, the view was only trees. She looked around, trying to find a place where it showed human interference. Adonis pointed.
"Over there." There was a small village, not more than an hundred people.
"Okay, let's go down there in a bit. I want to try to call James from here." Adonis nodded and handed the phone over to her. She dialed, it rang.
"Hey, yeah we landed safely. It's hot but other than that we're good. Yeah, talk to you later." She hung up and started her way down, Adonis sighed and did the same.
                              A month later.......
Lee stayed longer than she thought, she took her vacation time though and used it all up. They were just getting back. Aviana and James waited in the lobby, and by their side in a wheelchair was Luca. He looked sickly and didn't look like himself at all. When they came through the doors Adonis saw Luca. He looked away from him and went over to James and Aviana. He hugged them and they all greeted each other. Lee saw that Luca was being left out so she went up to him.
"I'm sure you don't remember me but I took care of you for a bit. I see that they let you out." She smiled, he weakly smiled back.
"I remember you, you were very kind to me." He tried to talk but his voice was broken, it sounded like he was a smoker for years.
"I'm sorry we came back so late. I'm glad to see you up and about though. I got you something." She was crouching in front of him and pulled out a little bracelet  and put it on him.
"It should buy you some time." Once she put it on, his started to look better.
"How do you feel?" She asked, her fingers crossed.
"Much better!" He smiled, his voice sounding like himself again. He hugged her, she hugged him back with a smile. Adonis watched them from the corner of his eyes.
"It's nice to see you again, Adonis!" Aviana smiled and hugged him, he hugged her back.
"Yeah. It's nice to see you guys as well. We should wash up and unpack." Adonis walked to the elevator, Lee looked up and ran to it as well.
"We'll be back!" She yelled before the doors closed.
"Something's off with him, he wouldn't even say hi." Luca whispered. Aviana looked down to him.
                              "What?"
"Oh nothing, just that I feel better." He smiled, she smiled back and pushed him to the elevator.
"Oh my boy, you look more like yourself already!" James tried to cheer him up.
"I know, I can feel it." He smiled but he felt sad and disappointed that Adonis didn't say hi. Adonis was showering when they came in. Lee was in her apartment and was showering. They waited for them to finish. After that they went out to eat. And when they got back everyone went to bed but Luca. He stopped Adonis from going to bed also.
                              "Adonis." He grabbed Adonis's wrist.
"Why won't you talk to me?" Adonis sighed and took Luca's hand off of his wrist.
"You don't look like yourself, I don't want to see you weak. You're a big brother to me, sometimes I don't want to know that you can get hurt that your dying because of me." He sat on the couch.
"Adonis I'm not dying because of you." He wheeled himself in front of Adonis, he still wasn't looking at Luca though.
"Yes, you are." Luca snapped at those words.
"Damn it Adonis! You didn't do this! Besides you are the one who's going to fix me!" Luca tried to cheer him up.
"No, I'm not! Don't you get it? I didn't find anything to help you!" Adonis yelled, his voice slightly broken and tears rolling down his face.
                              "What?"
"I looked over the whole of South America, and I didn't find anything that could help you but that stupid bracelet." He pointed to the bracelet that Lee put on him earlier.
                              "Oh."
"That's why I can't look you in the eye! If I hadn't agreed and pushed you to do the curse thingy you would be fine! I'm the one who is killing my best friend!" Adonis cried more.
"If I blamed you, I wouldn't be here. Adonis, I'm not mad. I know that death is something that we all face." Luca smiled but Adonis wanted to punch him.
"Maybe for you, but what about those you will leave behind? Are we nothing to you?" Luca sighed and put his hand on Adonis' shoulder.
"I'm broken right now, I can't go anywhere without Aviana or James. I can only wheel myself around short distances, I'm a nuisance to them. James can't work anymore and Aviana has to get me to work every morning. I'm not Luca the unbreakable anymore,  Adonis. I am broken, and one day I will die." Adonis looked up.
"No! Not before me! Luca, you are selfish! Why do you not see that the reason we are doing everything we can is because you're worth it? Why I traveled around the world! Stop feeling sorry for yourself!" Adonis yelled, Luca looked into his eyes with the most hurt expression and left. Adonis sighed and rubbed his face.
Aviana and James watched Luca close the door, they turned to Adonis. He looked up and saw them. They slowly shook their heads and walked to Luca. Adonis sighed again and walked up to his room.
Luca was in his room, he was watching TV. He was sitting up right and was wearing some PJ's. He heard a knock at the door and turned the TV off.
"Yes?" He slightly yelled so the they would hear him. The door opened slowly. His eyes scanned the area but didn't see anything. Only making it worse was that he could hear something. And after awhile he screamed.
