It's not like I wanted this, but at the same time. It's not like I hate this idea.
I walked into the building. My head held high, and Adonis following me. My heels clacked, and my sunglass blocking my eyes. I know I look intense.
"Lilith!" Adonis whispered.
"What?" I kept walking till I got to the elevator, he was holding all my things but my purse.
"What will I say to your boss?" I glanced at him.
"Nothing. You don't owe anything to him, I'll handle him you stay out of his way. That's it." The doors opened and I walked in. Adonis followed and I pressed the button.
"Be careful. He's difficult." When the doors opened again, I walked out and into my bosses office.
"Sir." I sat down and crossed my legs.
"Ah, Lilith." He stood up and walked over to the couch.
"What can I do for you?" He asked.
"I have a new assistant. He'll be around, Adonis Moore. Treat him well, I have to go. I'm going to singing lessons." I stood up, trying to get out as fast as I could.
"You don't have to, Lilith." He held my hand, I wanted to pull it back and spit in his face.
"I really do, sir. My career is on the line." I stood up, me hand slipping out of his.
"If you say so." He stood up and walk behind me.
"But if you marry a rich man, all your problems will be solved and you won't have to work a day again." I fought the urge to punch him and walked out of the room. I could hear him laugh as I did so.
"How did it go?" Adonis asked me, his smile cheering my mood up.
"Great, your allowed to be in right now." I smiled to him and walked to the elevator again.
"Where to next?" He asked.
"Singing lessons." I pressed the floor button.
.........................
"You didn't have to." I smiled to her. Aviana came closer and sat down.
"But I did. Your working hard here."
"And you work hard at home." I smiled to her, she looked down.
"I wish that was the case. Adonis, enjoy your lunch. I have to go, Luca is expecting me." I nodded because my mouth was full.
I wish my girlfriend could cook like this, I wish I could tell people that I have a girlfriend. I sighed, Lilith walking into the room. She spotted the food, her eyebrows raised.
"Your eating?" I nodded slowly.
"I would rather you didn't. I can't eat until two, can you wait until then?" I set the food down.
"I will." She smiled at me.
"Thanks. I have to work out after lunch, but before then I have to go to Luca's company." She walked out. I hurried and cleaned up the food and other things I had.
"Do you work out everyday?" She glanced at me.
"Not every day. Only week days." I chuckled and nodded. She's so cold, this isn't Lilith.
"I can drive us there." I pressed the floor button.
When we got to the car I opened the door and ran to my side. I pulled out and started to drive.
