Even with the force blocking cuffs, Ahsoka felt the minute Caedus walked in the building. A shiver ran through her as she tried to control her terror at the man in front of her. Caedus wore full black robes and some kind of plastiweave mask that obscured his face entirely.

He looked at the pirates. "Leave us. I wish to speak with the girl alone."  The pirates cleared the room, almost tripping over each other to get away from the dark figure. Caedus waved his hand and the cell door unlocked and slid open. The cuffs on Ahsoka's wrists clicked, but she made no move to remove them.

Caedus flicked his wrist and they came off anyways. Ahsoka shied away from him, strengthening her shields. Caedus tilted his head.

"Interesting. You already try to block me out. Your shields are strong but coarse. I could still get in and dissolve them from the inside if I wished." He observed. Ahsoka slid her fangs out of their sheaths and growled.

"What's stopping you?"

Caedus took off his mask and smiled thinly. "Why, the matter of your sanity of course." He laughed. "And the matter of me saving my energy, and saving the best for last." He reached to tip her chin up to look her in the eyes. "I've missed your screams, Ahsoka."

Ahsoka flinched and tried to get away from the mad man in front of her. He smiled and offered her a hand, which she didn't take. The smile melted off his face.

"Fine. Get up." He commanded, the velvet leaving his tone to reveal the durasteel underneath. Ahsoka hissed at him, but levered herself up off the ground. She tried to brush the straw off her sticky skin but only succeeded in spreading it around. She followed the sith out of the cell and down the hall.

He lead her through the halls, smiling as the pirates gawped at the unbound prisoner. He took her to the main room of tables. Hondo was there at the bar. Caedus glanced at Ahsoka.

"Stay here." He commanded. Ahsoka paused and glanced down the corridor. Caedus smiled. "And don't move or your husband will pay." He nodded at the plastoid armor on her inner forearm with a sadistic smile. Ahsoka clenched her jaw, lekku twitching with anxiety.

"You don't even know where he is. He'll be on the other side of the galaxy before you even think to go after him." She spat. Caedus smiled and slammed into her mind, not trying to break her shields, but enough that it was painful. Ahsoka grunted and doubled over, grabbing at her head. It stopped as suddenly as it began.

"You might find that he's closer than you might think." Caedus smirked. Ahsoka paled and mentally cursed her captain in every language she knew. And he called her stubborn. She reached out to him through the bond and tried to guess where he was. He was close. Too close. But not close enough for mental communication. She turned her attention back to Caedus as he addressed the weequay. Apparently Florum was now a separatist controlled planet and they were now all slaves to him.

Hondo slammed his mug of ale on the bar top. "This is outrageous. I will not stand for it!" He yelled. Several of his men joined in. Caedus smiled.

"I was hoping you'd say that, Mr. Onaka." He lifted his hand and a wave of pure cold rolled through the room. Ahsoka ducked her head and shuddered. The screams started soon enough. She slid down the wall and covered her montrals in a vain attempt to block out the sound. It didn't help much.

She reached out for Rex again. He was furious, that much she could tell. He had felt the cold of what ever Caedus was doing to the pirates too. He was zeroing in on her location, and moving fast. Ahsoka tried for communication.

Rex! Rex stop!

No.

His mental voice was flat and cold. Ahsoka tried again.
