That information has become public knowledge. You're going to have to do better than that. - Amelia

Alright. . . You've gone to see over three different therapists to help you mentally cope with the loss of your family. None of them helped you. None of them could ever get inside your head. Because I know that there is something already there. Something you're terrified of. Yet, manage to keep it a secret from those closest to you. It speaks to you and tries to take control. And you're afraid of what will happen if/ when it does. You think you're protecting them by not telling them. You haven't even told Elijah Broderick about it. - S

If it were at all possible to scream without anyone hearing me, I would have done so and at the top of my lungs. Holy shit. This couldn't be real. The only person in the world who knows about my mental condition was Aralyn.

Yet, whoever this person was, they have proven to know more than the average person. The question is how? How did they know about my other personality? How did they know about Elijah?

My entire body was trembling so hard I was about to fall out of my chair. I moved my hand to cover my mouth that had been hanging open. Hot tears streaked across my eyes, blurring my vision from being able to re-read the email. But, I did read over the email at least another ten times before I gained the courage to reply back.

Who the hell are you? How could you possibly know any of this? - Amelia

Let's just say... that you and I share a very uncommon relationship. One that most people will never experience in their lives. I suggest you get used to this, because you will be hearing a lot more from me in the future. Goodbye for now. - S

And, just like that, the messages stopped coming in. I sat back in my chair feeling numb with a searing migraine gnawing at the back of my head. What the hell did any of this mean?

For the longest time, I believed Aralyn was the only one who knew. And, if she didn't tell anyone then that could only mean that I had met this person during one of my blackouts.

Oh, god. Had I slept with this person? I wasn't even sure if "S" was a man or a woman; but, I wouldn't put it past my alter ego to play both sides. The thought of me possibly sleeping with this person made my skin crawl. No matter what our connection may be, I still didn't trust them. Why reach out to me now?

I dug through my bag in search of drugs to help ease my headache. And, possibly something for my nausea. My attention, however, was stolen when I saw two men coming out of the office. The first was Elijah, wearing a dark navy blue dress shirt and a pair of gray pants.

I was unable to recognize the man behind him as they both strode towards the elevators. Unlike my boss, this one wore a black leather jacket with dark gray jeans. I caught a quick glimpse of his tattoos peeking out from under his white shirt that he wore underneath.

"Hold on a second," the man said in a deep voice. Suddenly the two of them were making their way back over to where I was sitting. The expression on Elijah's face was serious as if he was against the idea of this man approaching me. Although, his acquaintance looked thoroughly intrigued.
