december twenty-first- decking the halls

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" Theo asked.
I had gotten back to our dormitory after he had last night. He and Blaise were both passed out when I returned, which, as I had learned this morning, was in my best interest.
"Because I didn't have a reason to," I rebutted. "I was going to tell you this morning before we left."
"But no, instead I had to hear about it from your bloody Puff trying to cover for your hazardous arse!" Theo shouted, his voice echoing between the walls.
"What's happening now?" Blaise queried, sauntering into our room from the hall.
"Nothing except for this prat setting himself up for failure!"
"You don't know that-" I argued.
"You're seriously going to tell me that you're spending fourteen days in a room with this girl and she's not going to try to rip your shirt off?"
"I've held us for this long, I can hold out for fourteen more days."
"How the fuck are you going to change your clothes without her seeing your mark?"
"I'll make it work."
"You haven't told her yet?" Blaise asked, stopping his movements to glare at me.
"Obviously not. I thought you were supposed to be smart?" I jabbed.
"You are mentally deficient," he said.
"He hasn't told her, but he lets me run around with her without all the information!" Theo added, his voice rising again.
"Are you going to tell her?" Blaise asked, his voice quiet in comparison.
"Eventually."
"No, you are not getting away with this eventually bullshit anymore," Theo scolded."You are going to tell her before something happens and someone else does."
"And how do you suggest I do that, Theo? You want me to call Him right then and there? Tell me how the fuck I'm supposed to tell her this!"
"I don't know but maybe you should have thought about this in the first place! She has been worried sick about you since term started! She asks me about you all the time, how you're doing, if you're okay, sappy bullshit like that!"
"What do you tell her?" I questioned, my voice timid with the fear of his answer.
"I have to fucking lie to her and tell her that everything is fine! It's bullshit! You need to grow a pair and tell her right fucking now, before she decides to spend the next fourteen days with you! She deserves that at the very least!"
"You don't think I know that?" I shouted back. "You don't think I've been living with that guilt every single day?"
"Why don't we-"
"Shut the fuck up, Blaise. Get out. I need to talk to him alone for a few minutes," Theo said, his voice harsh and cold. "Now."
Blaise scoffed and walked out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
"Tell me what the plan is," Theo muttered.
"What?"
"Oh don't fucking tell me you don't have a sodding plan. How the hell are you getting up there? What are you going to do? When are you going to tell her? I need answers, Draco."
