My Dieties,
Five years.
If someone had told me years ago that it would take me almost five years to finish Venice and Chester's story, I probably would've laughed and said, "Impossible."
Yet here we are.
At the end.
And honestly, I don't know where to begin.
Because how do you say goodbye to characters who have been part of your life for years?
How do you close a chapter that grew alongside you?
The truth is, Venice and Chester were never just characters to me.
They became companions.
They stayed with me through different seasons of my life.
Through moments when writing felt easy and moments when it felt impossible.
Through days when I was inspired and days when I wanted to give up.
And somehow, they stayed.
Just like how many of you stayed.
Some of you found this story years ago.
Some of you patiently waited for updates.
Some of you sent messages, comments, votes, and words of encouragement that you probably thought were small—but they meant everything to me.
There were days when I questioned myself as a writer.
Days when I wondered if this story was still worth continuing.
Days when life became overwhelming.
But every time I came back, there were still readers waiting.
Still readers believing in Venice and Chester.
Still readers believing in me.
And for that, thank you.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Writing this story taught me so many things.
Venice taught me that strength is not always found in independence.
Sometimes, true strength is allowing yourself to be vulnerable.
Allowing yourself to trust.
Allowing yourself to be loved.
Chester taught me that kindness is never weakness.
That loving someone wholeheartedly is one of the bravest things a person can do.
That even after rejection, heartbreak, and loss, people can still choose love.
Together, they taught me something I don't think I'll ever forget:
People are imperfect.
Love is imperfect.
Life is imperfect.
But imperfect things can still be beautiful.
This story was never about having a perfect ending.
It was never about fairy tales.
It was about healing.
Forgiveness.
Second chances.
Family.
Growth.
And learning that sometimes the people who break us are not the ones who define us.
The people who stay do.
I started writing this story as a different person.
And now that I'm ending it, I realize I've changed too.
In many ways, I grew up with this book.
I learned patience.
I learned discipline.
I learned how much heart it takes to finish something when no one is forcing you to.
Most importantly, I learned that stories have a way of saving their writers too.
So if Venice and Chester taught you even a small lesson—
If they made you smile, cry, laugh, get frustrated, fall in love, or simply feel less alone—
Then every late night, every rewrite, every chapter, and every year spent writing this story was worth it.
As we say goodbye to them, I hope you carry a piece of their story with you.
I hope you remember that healing is possible.
That second chances exist.
That love is not about perfection.
And that some people are worth choosing over and over again.
To every silent reader.
To every commenter.
To every voter.
To every person who waited patiently.
To every person who cried with Venice and Chester.
Thank you for giving this story a home in your heart.
This may be the end of their journey, but it is not the end of mine.
I hope you'll continue supporting me in my future stories.
I hope you'll meet new characters with me.
Cry with them.
Laugh with them.
Grow with them.
And maybe, just maybe, fall in love with their stories too.
Until our next story.
Until our next adventure.
Thank you for staying.
With all my love,
Arteeymis

RomansaBroken promises are the reason why people are afraid to trust again. Venice Thalia is the embodiment of perfection-or so she believes. Narcissistic, self-centered, elite, and a fashion icon admired by many, she carries herself with an air of superio...
