Chapter 34: Self-reflection

(Miru's POV)

Nasa bahay ako ngayon. After what happened last night hinatid na niya ako sa bahay. Umuwi din siya agad after nun.

Mag-isa lang ako ngayon. Nasa kwarto ako. Nilagyan ko ng "Do not disturb", "Please", at "Dangerous" yung pinto ko tsaka ko ni-lock. Naka-lock din yung main door pero kung pupunta man yung tatlo may susi naman sila. Dito lang sila walang susi sa kwarto ko.

Dumapa ako sa kama habang kayakap si YoonHae, yung malaki kong stuff toy.

"Paano kaya nakasiguro si Yuki sa nararamdaman ko?"tanong ko sa sarili ko.

"Ikaw YoonHae, alam mo ba kung ano nararamdaman ko?"hinawakan ko yung leeg ni YoonHae at tsaka pina-iling.

"Ikaw hindi pero si Yuki oo daw. Paano ba malalaman kung may gusto ka na sa isang tao?"tanong ko ulit.

Kinuha ko bigla yung laptop ko at in-open toh.

"Mag-research kaya ako YoonHae noh?"hinawakan ko ulit ito sa leeg at pinatango

"Tama! Ang galing mo!"

Para akong baliw noh? Ganyan ako magself-reflect eh. Si YoonHae yung konsensya ko. Siya yung tumutulong sa akin kahit na sa totoo lang ay akk rin iyon.

Nagsimula na ako mag-research.

Isa lang naman yung kay Yuki dyan. Yung number 1. Pansin ko lang kasi, ang hilig niya sa titigan XD.

Andami ko ng ni-research. Pare-parehas lang naman pala. Puro eye-contact, show-off and etc ang lumalabas. Hhmm last na nga.

1. You think about them all the time. You can’t force yourself not to. You say, “Okay, today I will not think about this person,” but even being deliberate always backfires and you just end up thinking about them more.

Dahan dahan ko iyon binasa. Actually kinakabahan ako. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Bakit ba natatakot ako malaman kung inlove na ako?!

"Miruchan?"narinig kong pagtawag nina Uno at Dos.

Hindi ako sumagot. May naglagay ng pagkain sa small door ng pintuan ng kwarto ko. Yung pasukan ng aso? Pinalagyan ko kasi yun. May aso kasi ako dati.

Maya-maya narinig kong nagkwe-kwentuhan sila ni Dos sa baba. Hindi ko na lang sila pinansin.

"Oy YoonHae ano na gagawin ko? Paano ko malalaman yung mga sagot sa mga katanungan ko? Bakit lahat ng iyon may something? Hala!"hindi na gumalaw si YoonHae. Hindi ko rin kasi alam kung ano gagawin ko. After minutes biglang may kumalabog sa loob ng cabinet ko. Pinuntahan ko yun at tinignan ko kung ano yung nahulog.

Bigla akong nanghina. It was our family picture. Me, my mom, step-brother and my dad. May mga scars at bura yung mukha ng dad ko. Naaalala ko nanaman.

Maybe I'm afraid to fall in love because of my dad. Maybe because he did something that made me feel afraid to fall. He made me think that all boys are the same.
