At the end of the day, Mike walked out of the school accompanied by Mara who linked her arm with his, and Evelyn, as well as Asher. The two latter looked to be quieter than usual. Evelyn suddenly looked around. "Hey, where's Jordi?"

Mara did the same, looking around "No clue"

Mike sighed and shook his head. "What is happening to us?" He muttered.

Mara's hand found its way down to Mike's hand. She gave his hand a comforting squeeze. "Maybe she got caught up with a teacher?"

Evelyn chuckled in a weak attempt to lighten the mood. "That's Jordi..."

Mike looked at Mara with an appreciative smile. "Thank you..."

She gave him a smile back, and a small kiss on the cheek. "Anytime". Now it was Asher's turn to speak up. "Should we go look for her?"

"I wouldn't recommend that with Jordan Fisher, to be honest" Mike lightheartedly joked. Evelyn giggled in agreement.

"Fair enough" Asher chuckled a bit as well.

Mike looked down at the small girl he was dating with a blush. "You wanna walk together to your house?"

Mara smiled a little, blushing a bit as well. "Sure"

Evelyn smiled at the cute couple in a bittersweet way.

I'd be left with...him

She eyed Asher doubtfully as she thought of the exchange they had earlier.

I...I wanna apologize...ugh!

Evelyn shook the thoughts out of her head and waved at Mike and Mara. "Okay, have fun you two"

Asher just smiled a little at the couple, doing his best to keep his eyes off of Eve. He knows that what he did was wrong, yet the boy wasn't willing to admit just yet. Mara smiled and waved at Ash and Eve.

As the four talked, another familiar face walked out looking panicked. Rose was looking around for someone.

Mike had been the first to notice, even though he didn't say anything because he still held his three former "friends" responsible for the hurt they caused him and Mara, but his pointed look in her direction stood out clearly.

"Mike, are you okay?" Evelyn asked.

Mara turned to look at Mike. "Yeah, what she said. You okay?"

"It's that...girl..." Was all that Mike could say.

"What?" Mara rose an eyebrow. Asher followed Mike's gaze.

"You know...Rose..."

Asher turned to the others to say something, but stopped himself. Instead, he walked over to Rose without a word.

Mike raised a brow at his friend, and Eve walked over towards Asher.

"What are you doing, Asher?"

Asher turned to Eve. "I wanna see what's up"

Eve was about to say something but she stopped herself and stood there.

Asher smiled a bit at Eve and turned back to Rose, continuing his walk towards her.

Mike and Mara walked over to Eve as well, curious as to what was going on.

Mara spoked up once she was next to Eve. "What's that about?"

"I don't know..." Evelyn replied.

"Whatever it is, it's not making sense" Mike responded.

"Not at all.."

While the three of them wondered about what was happening, the other two were having a conversation of their own.

As Asher reached the girl, he spoke up. "Hey are you ok?"

"F-fine" Rose responded, still looking around. Asher glanced around as well. "Who are you looking for?"

Rose finally stopped looking around and turned to face Ash.

"I'm looking for Nate"
