Six

Okay guys, small explanation: the last four chapters were actually written as one big 2k words long chapter that I decided to split up. Big shoutout to Watermelon once again for being an awesome friend and co-writer. Enjoy!

Jordi was making her way down the hall to her class when Asher and her crossed paths. Asher sneered a bit. "Well well well, who do we have here?" He stopped walking.

Jordi stopped and turned to him. "What do you want?"

He smirked. "Oh nothing"

She rolled her eyes.

God, I hate him.

"Get lost, Ash"

"So quick to get rid of me. Wow"

"Yeah, who wouldn't?" She snickered.

"Ha ha. Very funny, Jordan"

"How many times have I told you to call me Jordi?" She grumbled.

It was his turn to snicker. "Apparently, not enough"

She grumbled. "Why are you even over here?"

Asher shrugged. "Eve told me to come here"

"Oh, of course she did" She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, she did. Why are you here?" Asher rose an eyebrow.

"Same reason"

"Figures" He muttered.

The blonde girl that Asher and Jordi were waiting for finally showed up...only with three other people that Asher didn't recognize...

Asher and Jordi gave each other a questioning look.

"Who are those people?" Asher asked.

"Friends of Eve's, I guess" She replied, a hint of disdain in her voice. Her eyes filled with a bit of hope as she saw Mara with the group.

Before anyone realized it, all six were standing in front of each other and Evelyn was already making the introductions.

"Matt, Mike and Mara. I would like for you to meet my two best friends: Jordi and Asher. Jordi, you already know Matt and Mike so that's Mara! And that's Asher. Asher, this is Matt, he's my boyfriend that I told you about"

Mike gave them a pleasant smile. "Hi, nice to meet you"

But Matt was slightly reluctant. "Yeah uh...Hi"

Asher held his hand out for Matt. "It is very nice to meet you"

Jordi smiled, eying Mara. "Hi!"

Matt could sense some edge to Asher's voice but he shook his hand nonetheless. "Yeah, you too"

"Give me a high five, bro!". Mike said to Asher, causing Matt to groan at him.

Asher let go of Matt's hand and held his hand up for Mike. "Hey man!"

Mike high fived him happily, while Matt looked on in confusion.

"I...Wha? You know what? I'm just going to class, let's go before you get me in trouble" Matt started walking away.

Evelyn giggled nervously. "Don't mind him, please. He's a little..."

"Too much of a smarty pants" Mike joked.

Jordi laughed a bit.

Asher held up a fist for Mara. "Gimme some"

Mara smiled a bit and fist bumped him.

"He is right, though. Unfortunately" Mike rolled his eyes and sighed, starting to walk to class as well, Evelyn followed along.

Asher shrugged and walked off as well.

Jordi gave Mara one last smile before walking off as well.

Mara stood for a bit before doing the same.

All five walked together.

"Here's hoping he didn't close the door in our faces" Mike quipped, causing everyone to laugh, which echoed through the halls they walked through.

Yay, so our main six are finally friends! Or actually, they're more like acquainted with each other but whatevs! Once again, this book is one of the most beautiful things I ever created and I wanna shoutout my friend Watermelon, she did an awesome job. Go shower her with love, seriously.
