Goodbye

"What are you doing here?" Matt asked Evelyn.

"There's someone I have to talk to..." Evelyn stepped confidently and walked a bit closer to Jordi before stopping, Asher and Matt watching her in confusion and worry.

Jordi glared at the girl. "Don't take another step closer, Eve"

"I know, Jordan. I just have a few words to say to you..."

"What?!" Jordi growled.

"It's the same thing I told Asher before, but unlike you, he accepted it and tried to move on. Picking up a gun and taking lives is not how you deal with your problems. That just makes you a coward for turning to violent methods, letting anger take over your words and actions, making you hurt others and putting them through nightmarish torture that is way beyond being a suitable punishment...Asher tried to move on and find someone else. Why couldn't you have done the same?"

In the background, Matt patted Asher's shoulder when that was brought up again. Asher gave Matt a small forced smile.

Jordi stared at the girl. "Because I'm not him!! I wanted you! I EARNED YOU!"

Evelyn shook her head in disappointment, tears spilling out of her eyes. "You're a monster, Jordan. A bloodthirsty, cowardly angry monster"

Something changed inside of Jordi as the words left Eve's mouth. Something snapped. She threw Rose to the ground, and before anyone saw what happened... She shot her.

Asher's eyes widened. "ROSE!!"

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. Eve stood her ground despite fear rising in her.

Matt rushed in and stood protectively in front of Evelyn. "Is the ambulance here yet?!"

"They should be! I don't know!" Evelyn replied, eyeing poor Rose who was on the ground in agony.

Asher ran over to Rose, picking up her body and holding her. "Rose please, please hang on. p-please". The poor girl looked up at Asher, "I-I don't think....I-I can... A-Asher, t-thank you...f-for staying w-with me, f-for believing in me." She leaned up and kissed his cheek. "I'll see you..soon...." and with that.... her body went limp..

"No Asher! Get away! Eve, go make sure the ambulance is here!" Matt yelled, and Eve nodded and ran back down once again.

Asher didn't move away, he started crying, holding the girl tight "N-no R-rose p-please n-no!"

Jordi stared at what she had done. Everything she had done coming back to her, proving what Eve had said.

She is a monster.

Matt moved over and covered Asher with a determined look on his face that was pointed towards Jordi.

Not long after, everyone would hear two kinds of sirens: police and ambulance. Quickly moving, the men got out of their vehicles and tried to break the entrance door open.

Mara and Mike, who were still by the door, backed away from it as they waited its opening. Eve made it just in time to help Mara carry Mike into the ambulance.

Jordi started to panic...She was going to be arrested and put all over the news. Unless...

"It's over now, Fisher. Just surrender!"

Instead, Jordi got one final idea to execute...

She stared at the two. "I can't...Anderson...I'll have to face my parents, everyone who knows me at school, the whole city and the whole world, and I can't do that. Evelyn was right..I'm just a cowardly monster who doesn't deserve to live among people" She tossed the gun down in front of her, slowly backing up to the edge.

"Then go to rehabilitation, get the help you need. We'll wait for you" Matt pressed on.

"That won't undo the damage I've done. There's only one way for me to go..."

Matt stood up, anxious as to what's she gonna do.

"And that is upwards...Tell everyone I'm sorry, I know I don't deserve forgiveness.."

"Fisher..."

"G-good.. g-goodbye" And without another word, Jordi jumped off of the edge.
