"Oh uh...sure?" Asher rose an eyebrow but sped up his walking.

Matt sighed and turned back after watching Asher go for a few seconds. Eventually, he arrived at one certain grave.

Here lies Jordan Fisher

Died Too Young In A Tragic Manner

She was a friend and a daughter

Rest In Peace

Matt stood in a respectful moment of silence. "I'm sorry, Jordan. No one ever wanted it to end this way"

He started to move away before he gets too emotional and cry, catching up to Asher.

Later that day...

Asher and Matt were in a small restaurant. Matt suddenly turned to Asher. "We never got to hang out like Mara and Mike planned, did we?"

Asher looked up from his food and over at Matt. "No we didn't, The... incident... got in the way of that"

"I say we get everyone over. The doctors said Mike should be out today"

"Yeah we should. It's gonna be kinda weird without...Jordi tho..."

"Yeah but...We'll have to move on at one point" Matt started dialing Mike's number.

"Yeah..." Asher looked back down at his food.

The phone rang for a while, until Mike picked up. "Helloooooo?"

"Hey Mikey. Why does it sound like you're on anesthetics?" Matt raised an eyebrow.

"Never mind that. I just like to say it like that, okay?"

"Okay. Are you out of there yet?"

"Yes, I am, as a matter of fact. Mara and Evelyn are walking me out. What's up?"

"I was thinking you drag them over to that small nearby restaurant to join me and Ash for some food"

"I'm sorry, what? Did you just invite us to hang out?"

"Yes, yes I did. Everyone's paying for themselves however"

"Dangit, I knew it was too good to be true. Welp, I guess we'll be there soon, dummy"

"Hey, you're the dummy, dummy"

"What happened to your smart comebacks? Haha! We'll be right there!"

End of the conversation. Matt smiled and shook his head fondly. "Idiot"

Asher smiled. "He's your problem, not mine"

"Hey, you've become our best friend as well, Ash. So we're all each other's problem now" Matt retorted.

"Is it too late to run-"

"Yes"

"Darn it" Asher laughed a little.

"You'll get used to it. I know I did" Matt grinned and continued eating his own food.

Asher smiled and continued eating as well.

After a while, the rest of their friends made it to the restaurant and walked up to their table.

"Matthew Anderson, I am ashamed. I thought I was your only option to date" Mike proclaimed, making Evelyn laugh.

"You don't have to be this loud, Mike. We're in a public place" Matt deadpanned.

Mara laughed as well, shaking her head at her friends. Asher laughed a little, unaware of the tiny blush creeping onto his face again.

"Okay fine. Anyways, what are you two up to?" Mike sat down, Mara beside him. Evelyn sat down next to Matt.

"Oh you know, the usual..."

The five teens chatted and joked around with each other until the evening came along.
