Your lips, my lips, apocalypse
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chaos was erupted in New York usual. Loki stood before Alice; his gaze fixed upon her with intensity.
"What did you do?" Alice struggled to rise from the stool, her hands and feet bound by vibranium cuffs. "Why did you take me? ANSWER ME LOKI!"
"I can see the evil hiding in your soul," he spoke, taking a step closer to her. "And I don't mean to offend you in any way, Alice, but we are so much alike."
"Stop with this madness, Loki, please" she pleaded, attempting to break free. "You can go back to Asgard with Thor. Just give us the Tesseract. I'll even go with you if you want, just... just leave the Earth alone."
Loki paused for a moment, as if he was considering her offer, then erupted in laughter. Alice felt a strange sensation in her stomach, unfamiliar an unsettling.
"Stop! Stop using your magic on me! I will not fall for you, you evil wizard!" she yelled, and he immediately stopped laughing. "I don't know what your plan is with me, but I'm not gonna fall for your stupid games. Wait, I know what happened. Your sceptre worked on me after all, but you only activated it now. Yes, that's it! You're using it to make me feel like this towards you, like I'm..." She stopped, hesitant to voice her thoughts.
"The sceptre did not work on you, I swear, Alice..." Loki's voice was calm, mirroring her own confused emotions. "I am not fondling with your mind. You have my word."
"And I'm supposed to believe you? Prove it. Prove it you're not doing anything to me."
Loki got closer to her, but she didn't even move an inch. It was as if she wanted him to be closer to him. He grabbed his sceptre and pointed at her cuffs, releasing her. She looked at him in shock. Did he genuinely trust her like that? Did he anticipate her compliance?
"Wh-Why did you do that?" she stayed close to him, staring into his deep blue eyes.
"I told you, Alice. I'm not doing anything with your mind." He lifted his left arm, caressing her cheek. "Everything you're feeling... It's just you, not me."
"I'm not... I'm not feeling whatever you think I'm feeling, Loki" She tried to sound stern, but her voice came out as a whisper. "I only feel anger towards you."
Loki leaned in, "Are you sure about that?" he murmured against her lips.
In an unexpected surge of urgency and longing, Alice seized the moment, swiftly placing her hands behind Loki's neck. The air filled with electricity as she closed the space between them, a magnetic force drawing their lips together in a melting and passionate kiss.
Loki's hand, instinctively responsive, found their place on her lower back, pulling her with an irresistible force that deepened the intimacy of the kiss. Every touch and movement reflected a profound desire that had been ignited between those two troubled souls. In that moment, time stood still.
After a few minutes of kissing, the god pulled away. Their foreheads and noses were touching, they eyes were closed, and their breaths were short and quick.
"I've felt attracted to you since the first time I saw you," he whispered. She remained silent. "You must go now, Alice. They can't see us like this, or else they will punish you as well."
Alice opened her eyes and took a step back, but her hands remained behind Loki's neck. "I'll leave if you come with me. We can run away together. I know places where they'll never find us."
"No, I must stay. I must finish this; I have no choice... I will tell you about it one day, I swear on my life, but, right now, you must go. The metal man is almost here." They shared one last kiss before Alice had to leave.
"This is not the best time for us, my little dove..." Loki said as she threw herself from the window, "But fate will reunite us again."
Alice hit the ground on her right knee, causing a loud thud, attracting attention. "I'm gonna bust my knees one day."
Looking up, she saw Tony falling from his building. Ready to catch him, she noticed his suit soon joined him, making him fly just before he hit the ground. Suddenly a blue light erupted from the top of the building, creating a hole on the sky. The ugliest creatures she had ever seen emerged, blasting everything with their guns.
"Well, time to fight, I guess," she said to herself. As the creatures arrived on the streets, Alice fought, protecting as many people as she could.
After killing more than twenty of those creatures, a loud noise, almost like a growl, emanated from the hole in the sky. Looking up, Onyx saw a creature the size of a building, resembling a giant worm with arms and legs, coated in armour.
"Fucking hell," she complained as the creature descended to the streets, wreaking havoc.
Meanwhile, Thor and Loki fought on the top floor of the Stark tower. The god of thunder made his brother witness the destruction he had made in the streets of New York.
"Look at this! Look around you!" Loki's eyes followed the dozens of buildings on fire, intensifying his regret for mere seconds. "You think this madness will end with your rule? You think Alice will love you after you've killed almost everyone in Midgard?"
"It's too late," Loki confessed to his brother, "It's too late to stop it."
"No. We can, together. You can still leave this, Loki. You can still have Alice's heart. Just help us stop this." The god of mischief appeared on the verge of giving up, but instead, he drove a knife into Thor's gut.
"Sentiment," Loki smiled, watching his brother fall. Thor, undeterred, rose to fight, while Loki escaped in one of the Chitauri's pods.
"Oh brother, I already have her heart," Loki said to himself, smiling.
"We got civilians trapped down there," Clint told Steve as they hid behind a cab from the Chitauri. "You got eyes on Onyx yet?"
"Negative," Steve said, scanning the sky.
"Do you think he hurt her?" Natasha asked, concerned about her friend.
"He wouldn't," Hawkeye reassured his teammates, "From what I remember from being under his control, he would talk about her a lot, almost like he was... in love with her? I don't think he would hurt her."
"Guys, I finally found you!" Alice joined her friends, hugging Steve tightly. "These Chitauri are such assholes! Killed a bunch of them on my way here."
"Alice, you're okay!" Steve embraced her again, squeezing her against his chest, "We were so worried about you! Did he hurt you? Did he put even a finger on you?"
"No, I'm okay guys, he didn't hurt me," she smiled at them.
"Then how did you escape?" Natasha inquired, and Alice, avoiding the truth, tried to fabricate a response. Luckily, a blast hit a few cars just twenty feet away from them, distracting everyone from Nat's question.
"I'm going there to help, see you soon!" Alice yelled, running towards the explosion-filled are, now swarming with Chitauri.
"Can she handle all of them?" Clint asked, expressing concern about the young girl.
"Don't worry about her, she's fine," Natasha smiled as she saw her friend kill every single Chitauri in her sight.
