Bucky and Alice made their way down to the entrance, where everyone was already gathered, patiently awaiting their arrival. Once the two of them got there, Natasha put her arm around Alice's waist, pulling her closer to her side and offering her a kind smile. Steve stared at Alice for a few seconds, trying to read her mind and waiting for some kind of reaction. She simply nodded at him, and he reciprocated. They both understood what that gesture meant.
Thanos' ships started hitting the dome surrounding Wakanda. Some sighed in relief, until they witnessed the ships landing outside the protective barrier. The team divided themselves into groups so they could go to the battlefield inside the Wakandan jets.
"I got two heat signatures breaking through the three line," Rhodey, who was flying on his suit, said over the coms.
Alice disembarked from the jets and went to the frontline, between Natasha and Bucky. They watched the two Thanos' lackeys slowly approach the dome. Steve, T'Challa and Nat approached them, attempting to dissuade them from battle, although it was useless.
"They surrender?" Bucky ironically asked upon Steve's return.
"God, I hope not," Alice mumbled as she closed her fists together. Killing Thanos and his army wouldn't bring Loki back, but she yearned for revenge.
The rest of the army started to approach the dome. T'Challa and the Wakandans began their war cries.
"What the hell," Bucky exclaimed, taken aback by the creatures about to confront them. This was unfamiliar territory for him, but not for Alice. She had already faced the Chitauri in New York, so that part was easy for her.
Natasha looked around at the army, running towards the dome, "Looks like we pissed her off."
"They're killing themselves," Okoye exclaimed in horror as she witnessed the Outriders attempting to breach the dome but getting dismembered instead.
A few of the creatures managed to breach the dome. The Wakandans activated their shields and launched spears at them.
"Let's go," Alice said as she grabbed a gun and stared shooting them, along with Bucky.
It was easy for them to kill the ones that were inside, but the situation changed once they began circling the barrier. Alice exchanged a concerned look with Bucky, who mirrored her unease.
"Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us... there's nothing between them and Vision," Bruce pointed out what Alice was thinking at that moment.
"Then we better keep 'em in front of us," Steve gritted his teeth.
