I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time

"Kneel," Loki told her assertively.
Alice landed on the ground with a loud thud, drawing the attention of everyone around her. "Why is everyone kneeling? Is this some kind of weird cult?" she queried.
"You know, that's not a very nice thing to ask a lady, especially in that tone, mister," she retorted, strolling around the crowd towards Loki. "I mean, I kinda like it, but at least have some decency and buy me dinner first, Reindeer."
"The soldiers," Loki directed to Alice and Steve, who had just joined her.
"Next time, wait for me," Steve told Alice, and she chuckled.
"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down," Natasha's voice resonated from the Quinjet's speakers.
The god of mischief ignored her and attempted to hit the Quinjet with a blast from his sceptre, but Natasha had good reflexes and quickly dodged it.
"Showtime," Alice muttered as Steve threw his shield at Loki. "Hey, wait for me!" Cap was already fighting Loki, but Alice found herself caught amidst the fleeing crowd.
When Alice finally reached Loki, he had already thrown Steve against a stone statue, knocking him out. "Hey, that's my best friend right there!" she shouted at the god. Subsequently, Alice engaged Loki in an intense fight. He was strong, but not as strong as her. As she was about to deliver a punch that would certainly knock him out, he managed to grab his sceptre and aimed it at her heart.
Loki smiled, "I've got you now, soldier." He tried to use the power of his sceptre to enslave Alice, just like he had done to Clint, but it didn't work. "It looks like you have a very dark heart, my little dove. I look forward to getting to know you." A creepy smiled appeared on his face, making Alice cringe.
"Ew, as if!"
Loki's creepy smile persisted, reflecting a mixture of intrigue and frustration as he faced an unexpected defiance. The failure hinted at a shared connection born from their dark pasts. Alice met the god's gaze with determination, but she couldn't help feeling some kind of connection with the Asgardian, a connection beyond the reach of his sceptre.
Suddenly, Iron Man appeared out of nowhere and blasted Loki, making him fall. "Make your move, Reindeer Games." Alice and Steve joined him, surrounding the god and making him defenceless. Loki raised his hands in surrender. "Good move."
"Mr Stark," Steve greeted Iron Man.
"Nice suit, sir," Alice told him.
"Captain, Onyx" he turned to Alice, "please, call me Tony."
