Oh, won't you stay with me?
'Cause you're all I need
This ain't love, it's clear to see
But, darling, stay with me

Three months had passed since the inadvertent incident that left Alice emotionally scarred over hurting Bucky on accident, but she was finally beginning to let it go. Although both still had haunting nightmares, the once terrifying vision had now lessened. The bond between them had deepened, transforming into a comfortable friendship without inhibitions.
While Bucky was in the shower, Alice took a trip to a nearby pizzeria to grab dinner. Excitement filled her as she returned to their apartment, calling out to Bucky with the news. Fresh from the shower, Bucky appeared in the kitchen, draped in just a towel that wrapped dangerously low around his hips. Alice couldn't help but be captivated by the sight of his well-defined, muscled body, particularly his torso. Bucky, sensing her gaze, felt a mix of embarrassment and pride. He didn't remember the last time someone had looked at him like that.
"Alice?" Bucky called out, prompting her to shift her attention. "You okay there?"
"Um, yeah, I'm fine. Totally fine. I bought pizza for dinner," she replied, trying to redirect her focus.
Bucky smiled at her. "It smells good. I'm gonna get dressed. I'll be back in a minute."
Returning five minutes later fully dressed in black sweatpants and a white t-shirt, Bucky joined Alice at the table. The air was filled with a silence that hung between them as they ate their pizza. After dinner, Alice retrieved two bottles of vodka she had bought earlier in the week.
"What are you doing?" Bucky asked as she handled him a bottle.
"I miss drinking, and I'm sure you do too. We need to have some fun, otherwise we'll go crazy in no time," she declared, grabbing a small radio from the counter, and turning it on. Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off' began playing in the background. Alice, blatantly revealing one of her guilty pleasures, danced around the kitchen, taking occasional sips of her vodka. Bucky, still seated, watch her with a puzzled smile, matching her rhythm with sips of his own drink.
The song ended, and Alice, out of breath, questioned Bucky's reluctance to join in. "Why didn't you join me?"
"As fun as it looked, I'm not the best person to join you in your dance party," he replied with a soft smile.
"Oh, come on, Buck. Don't be like that," she huffed. "I don't care if you're a good or bad dancer, we're just having fun."
While the broadcaster talked about the daily news, Bucky raised the topic of their imminent departure from Berlin. Alice, wearing a sad expression, acknowledged the necessity but couldn't shake the sentiment that the apartment had started to feel like home.
