And the days, they linger on

And every night, what I'm waiting for

Is the real possibility I may meet you in my dreams

I'll be here

Come back

Come back

Alice immediately pushed Loki off when he mentioned Asgard, her heart still raw from his previous deception and betrayal. Despite the pain he caused, a small part of her couldn't help but feel a bit of excitement at the news.

"What do you mean you have taken over Asgard?" she demanded, pacing back and forth in front of the couch. "Where's Odin? And Thor?"

Loki lounged casually on the couch, his demeanour infuriatingly relaxed. "Thor has been searching for more Infinity Stones across the cosmos. As for Odin, let's just say he's in a more suitable facility now."

"What did you do with your father, Loki?"

"Don't worry, my love. Odin is unharmed. I've simply relocated him to a care facility for the elderly in New York." He rose from the couch, approaching her with an unsettling calmness. "Despite my hatred for him, I assure you, he's being looked after."

Alice forced a fake smile. "Well, good for you, but I don't care about Asgardian business. What makes you think I still have any feelings for you after everything you've done?"

Turning away, she headed to the kitchen, feeling Loki's presence trailing closely behind. As she reached for a glass in the cupboard, she felt his proximity like a suffocating weight against her back. Her breath hitched in her throat, still surprised that he would dare to come so close to her after everything he did. The smell of his cologne was intense, making her desire him even more.

"You could finally be my queen," he whispered, his lips brushing against her neck in a tempting touch. "I missed you terribly, my love, especially the way your skin feels pressed against mine..."

A surge of revolt and longing surged through Alice as she spotted a small knife on the counter. Without hesitation, she grabbed it, whirling around to confront Loki, the blade pointed threateningly at his stomach. His initial surprise melted into a smirk, his twisted arousal fuelled by her defiance.

"You have no idea what you do to me," he purred, locking eyes with her as he slowly disarmed her. "But we both know you won't stab me. You desire me as much as I desire you. You can't deny that, my love. This façade you've adopted, this Indigo persona – it's just an ineffective attempt to mask your true feelings, and your broken heart over that speed boy."
