I got a stone where my heart should be

Alice had meticulously planned her infiltration of the prison, studying the layout, the guards' routines, and the patterns of food deliveries with unwavering focus. Three days of relentless observation had led her to a single opportunity – the weekly delivery of fresh food, her ticket into the heart of the facility.

As the truck rumbled into the prison courtyard, Alice positioned herself beneath it, her heart pounding with anticipation. With practice stealth, she clung to the undercarriage, her breaths shallow as she waited for the perfect moment to strike.

When the truck finally stopped, Alice emerged from her hiding spot, her movements quick and purposeful. She made her way to the locker room, her fingers precisely picking the lock on a guard's locker to grab a uniform.

Disguised as one of the prison guards, she navigated the corridors with ease, her gaze fixed on her target – Semenov's cell. Alice stopped once she was in front of his cell, her knife concealed in her boot.

"I already had breakfast today," Semenov remarked casually, mistaking Alice for one of the guards.

"Look up," Alice ordered, her voice cold and commanding. "Miss me much?"

Semenov's expression shifted from confusion to recognition as he saw her face. "Forsaken, you're here to rescue me!" He thought Alice was Forsaken again and was there to help him escape the prison, "I knew the soldier was still inside you, I knew it."

Alice remained silent, allowing him to believe what he wanted as she unlocked the cell door. But was he moved to step out, she shoved him back inside, her grip firm.

"What are you doing?" Semenov protested, his voice tinged with disbelief. "Soldier, get me out of here now! If your dear father knew about this, he would be so disappointed in you."

"Who?" Alice's interest was piqued, her patience wearing thin. She wanted to know about her father since she had that dream. "Tell me who he is!" Doctor Semenov was with his back against a wall and a knife on his throat.

Semenov hesitated, fear flashing in his eyes as Alice pressed the knife against his throat. "You can't kill me, I'll say the words."

"Say it then," Alice's voice was low, a dangerous edge creeping into her tone. "I'll have you bleeding on the floor before you even finish the first one."

"Okay, okay, I'll tell you," Semenov relented, his hands trembling in surrender. "It's not by chance that your powers are stronger than the Winter Soldier's. Your father had them as well. Although he passed away decades ago, Hydra kept his DNA through all these years, trying to replicate the serum that once worked for him. With his DNA and the new and improved serum I invented, it made you stronger than any other soldier. We found a woman that was at the prime of her age, didn't have any apparent health issues and was an expert combatant and spy."
