NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I looked at her face again and again, trying to find a difference. But yep, she was my cousin.
It felt pathetic. Like a rod of reality which is this close to hitting you on your face. THIS FUCKING CLOSE.
Lily knew about my mental disorder. She knew I was being treated in Derby but she never knew that I covered up about my mental illness by telling everyone that my dad had a car accident.
Okay! Back story: I suffer from a rare mental disorder which is called Exploding Head Disorder (EHD) that comes under the group of sleep disorders called Parasomnias. As soon as I'm about to fall asleep or right before waking up I hear explosions in my head.
The disorder seems a very weird thing so I covered it up by telling everyone that my dad just had a very bad car accident down in Derby and I will be staying there for a few months. But the truth is my dad has moved to Ohio for 7 months (6 months but the company needed him so well he decided to stay for another month) due to some work thing and I was getting treated in Derby.
Now apparently Lily knows everything about my mental condition (obviously given that she is my fucking cousin) and if by any chance Lily opens her mouth about my dad being in Ohio and about my EHD I am so fucked.
WHAT. THE. FUCKING. HELL.
Well I didn't tell anyone about my mental health because this condition is super effing rare but it's very very very—well can't say scary, but—it's just very exhausting and kinda a big deal.
Everytime I try to sleep, my mind explodes with these noises. The explosions; the screams mainly. It causes this unexplainable fear inside me that restrains me from even trying to sleep.
Derby had doctors which were certified to treat Parasomnias so I stayed there for 2 months but now that I'm back its getting very hard to keep people from finding out what actually happened.
"Nishi Bahl!" I heard her voice and turned to look "OH MY GOD!"
Yeah Lily, oh my God indeed.
She came to me and gave me a hug. "This is so weird. Never knew you were friends with my girlfriend." She smiled.
YEAH NOW I REGRET BEING FRIENDS WITH MADDIE ALL OF A SUDDEN.
"Holy hell isn't this new!" Maddie exclaimed as she stood right behind Lily.
I tried to speak but the fucking hell did my words not come out. I was scared about a lot of things all of a sudden.
Firstly Cole. HE BEGGED TO COME TO DERBY AND REQUESTED TO VISIT MY DAD BUT I JUST KEPT TELLING HIM NO.

Well I know how he'd react. I know perfectly. He would first be mad. Create a fuss (which I can't blame him for obviously) and then doubt himself and then assume that I don't trust him.
But then he'd be fine. Would take a week or so and forgive me. He can't stay mad for long enough. HE NEVER DOES.
But like I can avoid all of this drama. I CAN. I just need to get a chance to talk to Lily. Just 3 minutes. ALONE.
"Hey I heard Uncle Ravi is gonna stay in Ohio for another month."
