I received a text from Allan. Before school. Early morning.
What kind of surprise? I am curious all of a sudden.
He does that. Does that to me. Pretty often. Leaves an open end to the knot and I keep thinking. He basically gets me rattled up about things. Gets me into deep thinking. I never knew someone held that power over me.
Soooooo. We are waiting outside Allan's house in Cole's SUV and he is really cranky this morning. He probably didn't sleep last night. Suddenly he jumps out of his seat and rushes out of the car towards this girl standing there. While the girl and Cole hug (too tight), Allan walked past them to the car and planted himself on the drivers seat.
"Good Morning." He greets
"What is even going on?" I am confused. "Why are you sitting here?"
"He won't be able to drive. Too distracted for that." What did that mean?
A minute later Cole and the girl get into the backseat. She's wearing a sweater and some shorts from what I noticed.
"Oh fuck!" Cole blurted from the backseat "Jace this is Nishi."
WAIT. THIS IS NISHI BAHL?
"Nishi this is Jace. You both have heard a lot about each other from me." He chuckled.
"Yes in fact we all know how much Cole lovessssssss Nishi." Allan gigled. He looked at me through his glasses. Right into my eyes.
"I mean I wasn't the one that woke up blushing this morning." Nishi said and Allan almost turned into a red tomato. He was blushing. Why?
"Nishi. NO." Nishi laughed. Cole was laughing too. Allan was still red as fuck.
"What even is the joke?" I blurted, completely confused. Listening to me, both Nishi and Cole started laughing even harder. Allan had a small smile on his face as he looked at me. What the fuck?
"The funnier part is" Nishi couldn't control her laughter "Allan basically confessed about having a crush." Both Nishi and Cole were laughing like donkeys in the back.

Allan smoothly parked Cole's SUV as he spoke "Just... Just don't listen to Nishi. She speaks too much. Eh! Forget it."
Allan was hesitant. And he was speaking way too faster than usual. He was basically nervous.
I rushed out of the car without saying anything. My head was like a battle ground. A part of it kept asking why was I so affected by this news and the other asking if the whole rushing out of the car without saying anything was a little too extra.
