❁ A MONTH AND A HALF LATER ❁

"Alright! Bye!" Jace cut the call.

It has been a month and a half now since I and Jace started dating. Everything is the same but somehow it feels changed. Jessica is coming home in a few days before Christmas which is in 10 days. I'm excited. Specially with a new addition to the family.

I got a dog. I was missing Jessica too much so Mom finally agreed to get me a dog. I named him Rowan. Jace calls him Row sometimes. It was pretty annoying at first but now I find myself calling him Row too. Everyone calls Rowan Row now.

Jace and my relationship is going really well. Mr. Sanderson thinks it's genuinely helping both of us in aspects of our mental health. He actually makes me less anxious. Like he's the play/pause button by which I can just control my emotions and anxiety and overthinking.

The day after he asked me out we went to a Halloween party as Jon Snow and the Night King. I was the Night King obviously due to my anxiety issues and as it covered my whole face no one was able to recognise me. Jace told me it was a sudden decision but I knew he planned it. It was actually really fun.

Nishi wanted to skip the party but we somehow managed her to dress up as Cersei. Cole was all set with the Rhaegar Targaryen costume.

We were all a bunch of Game Of Thrones fans.

Nishi was doing good lately. She was feeling okay about the whole EHD situation and she has gotten more comfortable than ever.

Maddie and Lily broke up. Maddie was pretty bummed about it for a long while. She broke up with her.

Nishi and Cole finally told us how they will be taking things in their relationship. They were never dating but they started arguing a lot a month ago and now they kinda want to go on a little break. So both of them are single. (Not really. A break doesn't mean you start dating other people. Ross from the show FRIENDS was wrong for doing that to Rachel)

Ashley Norton tried to flirt with my boyfriend. (Yes! That happened!) No one knew about me and Jace dating except a few close friends and our families. So Ashley obviously didn't know.

We were at a random party cus not gonna lie I have started enjoying those things except the drugs. Jace was sitting on this couch in the basement with me. I got up to get another round of drinks but well I came back to Ashley trying to make her way onto Jace's lap.

I mean obviously it isn't a shock to me. Like Jace is currently one of the hottest guys at school (I bagged him!) So Ashley Norton Bennett trying to fizzle her way up his dick won't give me a shock. But it was obviously scary.

Like I wanted to scream and hit Ashley in the fucking face but I am a guy and cat fights between a girl and a guy don't end up well even if the guy is gay.

Jace pushed her away and got off the couch and walked up the stairs without noticing me. I was very very very happy with the way Jace reacted but I still wanted to dance on Ashley's eyeballs for throwing herself at my boyfriend.

People have been suspicious about us-about me and Jace. He wants everyone to know we are dating. But I don't. I don't want his high school years to be like mine. I was popular too at one point in middle school for the right reasons. I had good friends and people didn't bother asking me if I was gay cus they thought I was really straight. Like any other normal kid.

But high school was one big slap in my face. After the rumours of me being into guys spread through the whole school I had to turn into a low-key nerd to gain the least unwanted attention.

Anyways that was a few months ago.

Thanksgiving went great. My parents invited Jace, his mom, Nishi and her parents and Cole and his entire family for a meal. Jessica and my grandparents couldn't make it but we did call them up while we were all seated in our backyard.

We were all thankful for a lot of different things. Me specially for Jace. He was grateful for me. At least that's what he said along with how lucky he was to start a new life in a new town.

And coming to the present-the Winter Trip was in two days.

The school takes students to some beautiful hill top every winter just before Christmas for a two days stay and it seems amazing by all those stories that I've heard about the trips.

I never go. Guess being a low-key nerd included not going for school trips. Instead I stay home and read and binge Netflix and no one bothers asking me why. Nishi did try for a long time but she finally gave up last year. Jess tried too but I'm one stubborn guy.

But Jace was really not listening to me. He wanted me there. Like he wouldn't agree with a no. He was more insistent than Nishi and Jess had been in the past four years.

I still don't want to go. But now it seems like I have to.

So I said yes. (After a lot of forcing and convincing that I will not leave my room too often)

I mean it's going to be romantic on a winter trip with Jace and all that snow and all the fun things we could do but I'm really wishing that drama doesn't follow.

Ugh!

This chapter was a very minor time jump cus obviously I've written too much of romance already. It's time for some drama.

I am also sorry for not updating the chapters quicker as I currently have online exams going on and I'm going to travel in between too.
