We packed up and were just leaving. Last night was a blast. Today morning was even better.
"Why don't you stay for another night?" Dad asked as Allan kept the bags in the trunk.
"We'll come some other time." I responded.
I looked at Allan. The kids ran to him. They loved him. He kneeled on the ground as both of them hugged him.
"I promise!" I added.
Soon we were moving past the fields as Allan drove. "Did you enjoy it?"
I looked at him and sighed. "Yeah!" I said as a smile broke onto his face.

"So, how's everything?" Mr. Sanderson asked as I sat down opposite him in his cabin. School was almost over. I really didn't wanna be here. I couldn't get the weekend out of my head though.
I looked at him. He had his usual grin on. "Great!" I responded.
"That's it?" He asked as if things couldn't just simply be good with me.
"Uhh.. yeah?"
"Give me details maybe?" He asked. What was this? A tea party?
I just kept looking at him. He gave up.
"How's Allan?" He asked.
"He's doing fine too as of now." I responded.
There was a brief silence. And then he spoke. "So you've been going to the center."
I have. I've been going there with Allan.
The sessions do make sense. But I don't want Allan to go through all of that alone. It just feels like I should be there with him.
Even when I don't need to.
"Yeah!" I said
"You hated it, didn't you? Are you only going cus of Allan?" He was poking me.
"I like it I guess." I answered hesitantly.
"You don't need to go if you don't want to." He gave me a funny look. I didn't like it.
"What's the point to this?" I certainly sounded angry. "Can I leave?"
He sighed, took a minute, and then chuckled. "Alright!"
I got out of that place as soon as I could. I walked down the hallway where Allan and some girl were standing together as Allan took books from his locker.
I walked up to him and placed my arm around his shoulder.
"Hey!" He was surprised. I caught him off guard.
"Hey!" I repeated, looking at him, right in his eyes.
"Hey! I exist too." I looked at the girl. It was Ashley.
In red hair.
"What did you do to your hair?" I asked, shocked as hell. She looked really different with this cut and the hair color.
"She's definitely going through something." Allan said.
"Shutup! I'm not." Ashley screamed.
"Hey, bitches!" Nishi chimed in, coming from the other direction. "Woah!" She looked equally shocked about Ashley's impulsive hair decision.
"Before y'all come at me, I dyed and chopped them yesterday. I wanted a change. I really did."
"But they look good, not gonna lie." Allan said.
"I know!" Ash smirked. She had cut them off almost till her shoulder. Or a little longer than that. The blonde was completely gone. It was all black and the ends really red. But they looked good. Allan was right.
"Girl! I need hair tips from you." Nishi said.
"Alright," Allan said. "we'll be leaving."
We were walking down the parking lot soon after saying bye to the girls. "I wanna dye my hair too." Allan said as he threw his bag in the backseat.
"Hell no!" I opened the door to the passenger seat.
"Maybe something darker?" He laid his arm on the roof of the car
"You're all crazy!" I said and sighed as I sat.
He pulled out of the parking spot and said "Yep. That's something I'd agree on. And it's not like I never warned you."
He was grinning. He looked really cute when his eyes were squeezed like that behind his big glasses.
I let out a chuckle and turned the radio on.
I started thinking about what Mr. Sanderson asked. Was I actually just going for Allan? Or did I actually start liking the sessions?
The point is, that I do like it there. The atmosphere is so much more soothing and compromisable. I don't have to rush to find answers to every question that's asked like in school. I can think. And I can act accordingly to everything.
I like how I have a say there. Like I get to fucking control my emotions and not the other way round.
And then there's my boyfriend. Smartypants.
I like the time we spend there. It's fun.
It's like healing. Healing with someone right next to me.
And Allan's started getting into zodiac signs lately.
He says that we've always been a good match cus I'm a Capricorn and he's a Pisces.
I don't really believe in all of this but then he comes up with these bizarre predictions for the day almost every day and they happen to turn out true. At times.
He's a psychic. And stupid.
A stupid psychic? Yes.
