When we woke up. Both of us didn't say a word. I guess those were just drunk words. What a disappointment. I hurriedly took a shower habang siya ay nag aayos pa ng higaan.

"Good morning, Yndi" He greeted me as I went out of the bathroom. I am now dressed and ready to go outside.

I smiled awkwardly. Should I ask him if he was serious last night? or I should forget all about it?

"Good morning, Nate" I finally said. He smiled but I couldn't. Er, ano na? Nakalimutan na ba niya lahat ng mga pinagsasabi niya kagabi?! Shit umasa na naman ako. Sabi ko na nga ba! Those are just illusions. I sighed.

"Let's go outside for breakfast" He said. Tumango na lamang ako. God! maiiyak na ako! Sabi ko na too good to be true lang yung kagabi! Pwedi umuwi nalang kami para maiwasan ko siya, nakakahiya! I hope hindi niya maalala yung kagabi kasi mag mumukha pa akong tanga ngayon. I fixed myself at sumunod na sa kanya.

He held my hand. I looked at him but he's looking at his phone. I bit my lip, please sabihin mo na totoo lahat ng mga sinabi mo kagabi.

I looked at our hands. Naiiyak na naman ako! Nate and I never held hands before, or meron bang time na ganun? If so, hindi ko matandaan. The feeling is unusual.

"We're leaving this afternoon, did you pack your things?" He asked. I nodded,

"Okay ka lang?" He stopped walking and looked at me. Tumingin naman ako sa kanya at tumango. He smiled weakly.

"Huwag ka namang ganyan, I always feel na may hindi na naman akong magandang ginawa" He said. I shooked my head.

"I'm okay, Nate" Tipid kong sabi. Should I ask him about the proposal? or wag nalang?

We ate. I was busy taking glances kay Nate while he's really busy looking and typing at his phone. I wonder kung sino ang katext niya. Is it Jessica??

I don't want to know but part of me wants to. I looked at Nate, Sobrang gwapo niya talaga! No wonder nabuntis at nagpakatanga ako sa kanya.

"Hey! Ba't ganyan ka makatingin?" Medjo natatawa niyang tanong. Nothing, Nate. Gusto ko lang pagmasdan ka.

I shook my head at tipid na ngumiti sa kanya. "Wala may naalala lang ako"

He smiled. Hindi ko alam kung para saan yung ngiti na 'yon. Ayokong makipag usap sa kanya kasi baka maiyak na naman ako sa sobrang kaartehan at kadramahan ko.

Nothing happened that whole morning, and in the afternoon we went home. Thank you, Siargao for everything! Hope to visit you soon.

"Mom? Is Kernel asleep?" Nate asked over his phone.

"Okay, I'm with Yndi. Sunduin nalang namin si Kernel" He ended the call.

"Let's get you home first and then we'll fetch Kernel? Is it okay?" He asked.

I nodded. "Okay lang, I'm just really tired. I want to rest"

"Okay, we'll rest after natin sunduin si Kernel"

"Uuwi ka na?" I asked sadly pero di ko yun pinapahalata. Please say NO.

"Yeah, I have some works to finish" Ouch! He said sadly. Oh yeah, he told me already about this.

"Oh-okay?"

He smiled. "I'll visit you always and Kernel. You are my family" He squeezed my hand. I smile a little.

"You don't have to. I mean, finish first your work para walang sagabal"

"Are you sure? Hindi moko mamimiss?" Kunot noo niyang tanong. Umiling ako, nasanay na kasi ako na wala siya palagi sa tabi namin so what's the difference?

After a long ride, we fetch Kernel and then went home. Not the original plan but I insisted on doing it.

"I'll be back after five days or more. Take good care" He smiled at me.

"I really want an answer, Yndi. Sa pagbalik ko sana may sagot kana"

I almost scream! Oh God! He remembered!

"Alam mo naman ang sagot, Nate" I smiled.

Okay na sana but then...

"Nate?"

Pareho kaming napalingon. I am lost in words. I don't want to see her but God! she's here.

"Ah, you're with her" she said.
