"Ouch"
"Sorry"
"My body is really delicate in case you didn't know."
"I can see, my highness." You said, trying to stich his gunshot wounds up.
————Both you and the blonde finally arrived in your apartment after Arthur's minions lost you. You quickly made your way up to the 3rd floor but the stairs weren't helping much. Since it was an old apartment, there weren't any lifts and not a lot of people volunteered to live there since it was located in the sketchy part of NYC. But, it was perfect for you because you wouldn't have to encounter a lot of people and the rent was pretty low for a 1 bedroom apartment in New York.
When you finally unlocked your door, you led Ash to your living room and made him sit on a chair you pulled out from the kitchen. You quickly hurried over to your bathroom and took your First Aid Kit out and made your way back to Ash.
You saw him trying to put pressure on his arm but blood was still running down everywhere. You grabbed another chair and sat infront of ash taking a deep breath in.
"I'm going to roll your jeans up now, tell me if i'm hurting you alright?"
"Hmm" He said looking at your slightly concerned face.
You put your surgical gloves on before disinfecting your hands and carefully started treating his wounds.
"This will sting" you said, pouring alcohol over his wound beneath his knee. You started with removing bullet pieces from his leg, after that you sew the gunshot wound close while making sure you wouldn't mess up.
Ash noticed the way you warned him before taking out pieces of the bullets, how you tried not hurting him as much as possible, how concentrated you were so you wouldn't mess up, how much you cared? But he also knew how dangerous you could be, how you didn't hesitate before stabbing Arthur's men, the cold look you had in your eyes as you drained the life out of someone like it didn't effect you at all. But he knew you didn't have a choice, and he was partially to blame since you were in that situation because of him in the first place. But he still had questions about you. As much as he knew, you were just a civilian who loved reading books till 2 hours ago, before you got caught up in his shit. He kept blaming himself, kept thinking what the outcome would be if he simply didn't get closer to you the past 2 months.
"Remove your shirt." You said breaking his train of thoughts.
"Huh?" He asked. You chuckled and pointed to his bleeding arm underneath his shirt.
"Yeah right, sorry." He said, slightly embarrassed.
"It's okay." You said, making your way closer to him and sewing his gunshot wound again. You noticed how built he was but obviously didn't point that out since you had a more important priority which was his bleeding arm. You noticed how tensed up he was at first when you touched him, but he gradually calmed down.
You had many questions about how he was involved with people who tried hunting him down, but you decided to not ask since you didn't want to interfere in his life and you respected his privacy. But after being involved and almost dying, you felt like you needed an explanation. On the other hand, you also knew he had questions about you too.
"Aren't you going to ask what happened?" He asked, tilting his head towards you. You looked at his jade green eyes and stared at him, thinking about what you should say.
"No." You said. "Well yes, but you don't have to tell me. I respect your privacy."
This girl is something else. Respect my privacy? She's too good for this world. Ash thought.
